Atlus is now working on bringing the second part of Persona 2 to PSP. Famitsu has the scoop on Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, which is coming to PSP on May 17.

Shoji Meguro is the director and created rearranged music for the PSP release. Just like Persona 2: Innocent Sin, players will be able to toggle between original and rearranged songs. Atlus also improved loading times and hired Madhouse to make a new animated opening.

The big highlight is Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will have a new scenario on PSP written by Tadashi Satomi, the original writer of the first three Persona games.

First Look: Persona 2 Eternal Punishment PSP

Famitsu.com has shared first screens of the PSP version of Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, which was first announced in its print counterpart yesterday.

As detailed yesterday, the PSP version of the followup to Persona 2 Innocent Sin offers greatly improved load times, event scene skipping, and various options for battle, including the ability to toggle pointer memory, set window color, and switch battle animations to simple.

The game also has new scenarios from Tadashi Satomi, writer of the original's scenario. These follow the exploits of Tatsuya Suou, the original's main character.

Wow! At last! Makakrating na rin ang Eternal Punishment sa US shores :2thumbs: Nalaro ko na ito dati thanks dun sa magandang fan translation pero mukhang lalaruin ko ulit since lalabas na ang remake :grin:

Now that you mentioned it, Innocent Sin nga lang yung yung may fan translation (courtesy of Gemini). Atlus ang nag-localize mismo ng EP. Akala ko gawa rin ni Gemini yung translation ng EP :sweat: My bad, my bad.

You don’t need to beat Persona 2: Innocent Sin to utilize this feature either. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will retain Tatsuya’s level and stats. The fusion skill list, monster conversation commands, and spare tarot cards will transfer into Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. Atlus hints that transferring Innocent Sin save data may change some event scenes in Eternal Punishment too.

Japan talaga setting ng persona series.pero ingat lang kasi itong persona 2 ibang game sa p3 and p4. Walang dating simulation and iba din yung battle system.
