Rise of the Tomb Raider won’t have any multiplayer mode, as developers are completely focusing on single-player campaign.

Last time we saw Lara was back in 2013 when Tomb Raider came out, it featured a multiplayer mode which not many of us spent a long time playing. However, there are players who loved it, but the fact of the matter is, MP mode was lackluster.

With the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider, developers have decided to cut the MP mode from the game. In a way it’s a good thing as developers can put all of their focus on single-player; and as we know, Lara Croft games are primarily about their story, amazing environments and characters.

The news was shared in the official Xbox Magazine by CD.

The game will release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in November, a PC version is expected later on. On the other hand, there is no word regarding its arrival on PlayStation 4, but rumor has it that Rise of the Tomb Raider is hitting PS4 in 2016.

Holy moly, this only sold around 200,000 units in the US (xbone and xbox 360 combined)... Remember when SE was unhappy with 3.4 million sales for the reboot? Well...

From everything I've read, it's a great game, and a game of the year contender. It's a shame that the sales are not matching the game's quality. Hopefully it gets the much needed push it deserves when it lands on the PC and the PS4. Though I am not going to buy a year old game, for full price.
