If you want to force update yourself you can use the microsoft media creation tool.Seraph011 wrote:Huh....ang tagal ng update nung sakin, hanggang ngayon wala pa... -_-
That's because people are force updating the OS using a tool designed for a different language pack. Set your language to English-United States if you want to force update it instead of through update tool.flipsflops wrote:First day ng Windows 10 at eto nakita ko sa Twitter.
Yeah. It's quite disappointing though I didn't say it's slow. Just a bit not faster than Windows 8.1 and not as snappy. By the way, my PC is very old. This doesn't even have UEFI so it's not a good basis of how fast or slow this OS really is. Still, I'm satisfied with the improvements especially with gaming. I'm also glad that my AMD GPU supports DirectX 12 for being GCN compatible.grayfox17 wrote:boot speed slower than 8.1? no buy for me....
You can change the location of the downloads folder where downloads go to. Right click on the downloads folder and choose properties. Select the location tab. There you will be able to change the location.darkwing_uop wrote:the browser doesn't have a Save As dialog for downloading files , it just lumps them all in the Download folder
Good luck! To be safe, change your language to english-United States.ron_bato wrote:Well screw it, just did the direct download using the link I posted above, it's setting up right now lol.
I am praying to all the software gods that this goes by smoothly lol.
Thanks! Everything went by smoothly! Didn't have to update my drivers or anything aside from the update I received from GeForce Experience yesterday. So far so good, I'm using edge right now, and it's pretty snappy so far. Liking it over Internet Explorer.jsnepo wrote:

yeah but sometimes you want to save a file to a different folder, you have to go to your 'Download' folder again and transfer itjsnepo wrote:You can change the location of the downloads folder where downloads go to. I know what you mean. It's really baffling. I mean they even removed the clear cache on exit that already exists on Internet Explorer.darkwing_uop wrote:yeah but sometimes you want to save a file to a different folder, you have to go to your 'Download' folder again and transfer itjsnepo wrote:

Yup, everything will be kept. Even the bookmarks were synchronized between the old OS, Windows 10 and even my Windows phone.ron_bato wrote: Thanks! Everything went by smoothly! All my files, preferences, apps, are all in tact din. So far, it's been a hassle free upgrade.
