Xbox 720 Always-On Practically Confirmed

Microsoft's creative director foolishly takes to Twitter to defend an always-online future.

The most prevalent rumours surrounding Microsoft's Xbox 720 is the threat of always-on internet requirement.

A number of sources have suggested the Xbox 720 will require the internet to access your game, a feature that has upset quite a number of fans.

Microsoft's creative director Adam Orth took to Twitter last night to adamantly defend an always-on internet device, suggesting that the Xbox 720 rumours could well be true.

Orth stated that he didn't understand the "drama" around an always-on console, adding that it was this "was the world we live in".

Since the series of Tweets were spotted by the internet, Adam Orth has since protected his Twitter account to prevent anyone from reading.

kung dito sa pinas pano gagawin ng iba na wlang internet na bumile ng xbox o yung may mababagal na koneksyon and yung iba na casual lang at walang paki sa online/multiplayer (like me) saka kung hinde naman dapat gawin bat kelangan pa nila gawin yun.

bute na lang naging playstation gamer ako at hinde ko kelangan ng xbox, wag lang sana biglang maiisip ng sony na gayahin ang xbox hehe.

and what actually mean by those " deal with it" na nakikita ko? ibig sabihin yung mga bumile na eh tangapin na lang? kaso nga hinde pa nila narerelease ang xbox 720 nila, so baka hinde na yan bilen ng ibang tao, well sa tingen ko lang naman. :sweat:

"deal with it" kung baga sinasabihan niya lahat ng may ayaw dun sa always-online feature na wala na sila magagawa, tanggapin nalang nila. screw that guy. how much of a douche are you to speak as if you call the shots for microsoft. goodluck nalang sa xbox fans, looks like you will be left out in the next gen race.

haha so tama naman pala ko sa pagkakaintinde ko, sabe ko na eh like what I said to my previos post, he said "deal with it" pede yun kung nakabile na ng xbox ang tao it's either ibenta nya yun at lumipat sa playstation or magties talaga sya, pero ang point di pa nila na release so baka hinde na bumile ang tao ng xbox nya at lumipat sa sony, mayabang kase ang sagot nya, para bang diko kayo kelangan at kame ang kelangan nyo.

bute na lang playstation guy ako, wag lang sana gagayahin yan ng sony hehe. :sweat:

Microsoft has responded to the tweets, via its PR firm, with the following statement given to GI International:

“We are aware of the comments made by an employee on Twitter. This person is not a spokesperson for Microsoft, and his personal views are not reflective of those of the company. We have not made any announcements about our product roadmap, and have no further comment on this matter.”

mapipiplitan sa siguro silang alisin yung "always-on".
I just turned it on if i'm playing multiplayer online... but turn it on if not playing online? that's impractical. Ano yan, parang sa Diablo, Warcraft o Starcraft sa PC dapat naka-battlenet ba yun? Daming kaartehan, maglalaro lang naman.
