The Last Story (Hironobu Sakaguchi Wii project)

Do you also play with non-PlayStation devices? Do you enjoy playing as a plumber saving a princess? Or some bald marines? Or maybe you want to play using the touchscreen?

Just read it too. HOLY CRAP MY FAVORITE PUBLISHER! Kudos mga kaibigan from Xseed! (Actually have to search this thread if it exists just to comment on it) Need to dust off my Wii for Xenoblade and this one.

EDIT: I pretty much agree sa sig mo pare. Definitely the year for jRPGs.

^Ayun lang.. Bili ka na pare. Haha pareho tayong PS Fanboy pero I think we can both appreciate good RPGs. You're missing out alot lalo na kung yung Nintendo DS pa yung di mo bibilhin. RPG haven yun eh. Maraming magagandang storyline dun na original (i.e. The World Ends With You, Devil Survivor & Radiant Historia, to name a few), not re-make unlike sa PSP.

The Last Story will be Limited
The Last Story came out way back in 2011 in Japan and eventually hit Europe and Australia in February, but North American gamers were left in the lurch. Until June, of course, when the game should finally be making a US appearance. However, if you’re excited about The Last Story and you’re planning to add it to your game collection, it’s advisable you grab a copy as quickly as you can.

XSeed, the company publishing the game in NA, is only planning on producing a limited number of copies of the game. This plan is the result of what XSeed actually plans to sell—they aren’t looking to print more discs than they can move. They haven’t ruled out the possibility of a reprint, but they’re not really thinking in that mode at the moment. XSeed feels that there is a very specific market size for this game and they want to avoid over-selling it.

The concept is simple—people that are interested in this game will buy it at launch, but it won’t have much of a life beyond that. The Last Story has a strong but niched audience, and XSeed doesn’t want to be stuck with a hundred thousand extra game discs. So if you want The Last Story, reserve it or pick it up close to its launch date.

Are you waiting for The Last Story? What do you think of this recent run of Wii RPGs?

I'm reading some posts from other forums na baka may same problem ito gaya dun sa Xenoblade Chronicles (i.e. yung dual layered disk na problem). Pero sa mga EUR versions pa lang naman. Sana wag naman mangyari ito for the US version
