Hi, guys. Just got a 13-inch macbook pro with retina. Yung 2015 model. Any good games you guys can recommend? Medyo may learning curve din pala for a life-long windows user like me

try the low end games muna and see kung tatakbo ng walang problema. MBP are generally not recommended for gaming due to compatibility with OS X. For the price of the latest MBP, you could have gone with an i5 laptop instead dedicated na pang gaming talaga - and much cheaper pa.

I could've gotten an i7 with a really great graphics card, actually. Pero kailangan talaga yung mac for recording purposes. I could still maybe play a few games. Heard Starcraft 2 works great with the rMBP.

^you could try pero i suggest researching about it muna kung kelangan mag parallel ka or bootcamp to make your intended games work. Ako din I bought my MBP 2008 just for the sole purpose of photo editing alone and nothing else

I know the feeling. It sucks nga lang that my previous 2011 Windows laptop is stiiiiiiill ways better than this rMBP gaming-wise.

sa Steam madami dami selection ng games. kung walang mac version try mo mag install ng virtual machine, yung Parallels halos lahat ng windows games gumagana.

since i was bored i tried experimenting with my MBP and installing parallel on it and win 8.1 as the OS ...so far ok naman, walang kahirap hirap mag install at setup. I did put in starcraft 2 HOTS and it ran very well on medium settings. Medyo stuttering sya when Im playing custom pero sa campaign flawless sya. Also tried installing batman arkham origins and surprisingly it did run very well kahit may mga occasional stuttering din, very playable on low settings. Will soon try my other games if those will run too. Kung sswertihin baka gawin ko nang dedicated gaming machine ang MBP ko pag nagkataon sayang yung specs kung hindi susulitin

My MBP is an i5 and intel hd 3000.

PS may cooling fan ka pa ba na ginagamit or ok lang na wala na?

Sure! btw, my MBP is on mountain lion din pala, didn't really plan on upgrading to yosemite kasi dami "daw" issues. As for the cooling fan, yes I'm using the same one that I have for my acer laptop kaso may kalumaan na rin so the best thing I do to reduce the heat is elevate my unit - yung maglalagay ako ng kalso sa ilalim para naka-angat sa surface tapos I don't usually play more than 2 hours kasi both of my laptops can get really warm when gaming, nasasagad kasi yung resources eh kaya para safe I limit my playing time to no more than 2hrs. I also tried the logitech game controller for my MBP and it worked fine naman, the system will prompt you for which OS you will use it for.

The Witcher and CS:GO plays smooth on my 13" mbp (intel 5100)

guys tanong lang. Bakit yung Ipad Air 2 ko. Laging nawawalan ng connection? yung Wii U, Ps4, and other devices di naman? Meron ba kayong preferred settings sa Ipad connection?

I heard about this 'bug" since iOS 8 came out, yung bigla ka na lang hindi maka-konek sa HOME wifi kahit na wala ka namang binabagong settings. Try mo forget yung network tapos reconnect. Kung naka activate naman yung access control feature sa router nyo, add mo ulit yung device sa allowed list. Yung 2nd option ang naging solution ko dun sa iOS devices ng mga kapatid ko.

So to maximize your Mac's resources for gaming then setup ka nung boot camp at wag parallels (mahahati ang resources ng mac mo pag parallel tsaka hindi compatible ang DX11 dun). Madali lang naman, may instructions and guide naman to teach you how to set it up. LAHAT ng mga games na kinabit ko tumakbo naman and medium to high resolution settings pa. I'm getting nearly 60 fps for them so para na rin akong naka-ps3 kahit pa late 2011 model pa akin hehe...

Take note nga lang na hindi lahat, lalo na modern games, ang ppwede tumakbo. Naka depende pa rin syempre sa system req nung game na ikakabit mo.

Any laptop can get really hot pag full load ang resources lalo na pag gaming (pinaka max na inabot ko was 68-ish+ celsius) so what I do is gumagamit ako ng laptop cooler tapos may kalso sa ilalim para naka-slant at hindi naiipon ang init sa ilalim, uncomfortable kasi pag naglalaro ka ng FPS tapos saksakan ng init yung keyboard area. Tsaka ang isang kagandahan kasi ng MBP is that yung fan nasa likod ng unit so somehow less obstacle sa vents nya.

Now, since I'm on bootcamp using windows, I can tweak the power options para less ang power consumption so in return less heat ang generated. I also don't play for too long, 2 hrs max lang tapos balik ako sa browsing para mapahinga ang resources ng unit ko.

hmmm..tricky yang situation mo. I just bought an ipad mini 1 and updated na rin sa latest iOS pero it connects to our home WIFI just as fine. Explain mo nga maigi ano nangyayari pag nag attempt ka kumonek? madami kasi factors ang pwedeng involved dyan lalo pa WIFI yan - pwede kasing proximity, router issue mismo, simultaneous automatic updates ng lahat ng apps mo, etc....

^ habang nasa youtube ako nawawala bigla yung internet paps. kahit anung browser biglang nawawala. kapag iturn-off ko naman wifi ko then turn it back on bumabalik naman internet. This is an inconvenient experience palagi nalang ganun. Hmmmm.

kumokonek naman pala eh. If you're on wifi expected behavior na yan lalo pa na tablet yan kasi you tend to carry it around more. Ikaw na rin mismo nagsabi, yung ibang gadgets kahit consoles hooks up just fine pero yung ipad lang ang hindi kaya more on proximity lang problema mo. Another thing you should note is yung ilan din ang nakakabit at any given time kasi pag madaming devices ang nakakabit nakakaapekto din yun.

May iOS 9.1 update na.
