Yup, kaya maski bitin yung book 3 eh I already have really high expectations sa book 4. And gusto ko na talaga malaman kung paano mareresolve yung kay Boa at Candy and kung magiging major uli role ni Carrion.

Yung Pugad Baboy 23 naman eto yung cover pero di pa ko nakakahanap ng NBS na meron....


Kikomachine I haven't tried reading pero I'll give it a shot pag nakakita ako. Thanks!

I'm torn about Carrion. ^_^:
I mean, he IS evil, but the third book paints him as somehow... redeemable. I smell a heroic sacrifice in the last 2 books, haha

Cool ng cover ng Pb23, sana makakita na tayo ng copies

Try mo muna yung kikomachine 1 to get a feel for the series.
(Although it's really funny. Ang kulit, even though the charcters are nameless they're still very distinguished!)

Si Mater Motley kasi parang typcal villain sakin eh, other than her want of "evilness" wala masyadong complexity and drive sa character niya. Pero malay natin meron pa palang more than meets the eye sa kanya...gotta see in the last 2 books!

Yay! Interesting kung walang pangalan characters sa kikomachine, I can give them my own names!

Tribute ko as a fan of the Macross - Robotech series. Hindi ko kasi masyado nasubaybayan yung part ng story na si Dana Sterling na yung bida kaya babasahin ko muna yung book!

Ang cool naman, may novels rin pala yung ibang series.
Hm. Macross... ang napanood ko lang kasi yung Macross Frontier.
I love the soundtrack, though. It's in my mp3player, ps3, laptop and mobile phone.
And ang galing ni Megumi Nakajima, I really like her voice! (++ bonus points for being half-Filipina, wala lang )

Anyway, may pagka soap opera yung original Macross but it's one of those anime that story matters more. But for it's time, maganda din yung animation eh and mataas yung level ng detail sa mga mecha. Plus who can resist the old school look of the characters! If you have time, check it out baka magustuhan mo din.

Finally found a site that has Dragon Age Asunder available for download! Ebook na lang muna ako til I can get my hands on the actual book!

Naisip ko rin minsan na may pagka-soap yung Macross Frontier. I guess they meant for the franchise to have that vibe, para hindi lang puro mecha May love triangle, may long lost siblings, politics, etc~ I'll try to watch yung original

Nabasa mo na yung The Hunger Games Trilogy? I'm reading it kasi, on hold muna yung iba kong books
2010 ko pa nabili yung 1st book and I'm only reading it now. Plus I want to prepare for the movie, haha

Galing talaga ni Brandon Sanderson, halos lahat ng Fantasy books nya maganda (didn't like Elantris much ang bagal kasi ng pacing).

Also got PB23. IMO medyo hindi na nakakatawa yung mga jokes ng newer PB compared dun sa mga luma. The last PB I really enjoyed was 16. Kaya lang naman ako bumibili pa rin kasi OC ako sa collection

May naka-try na ba sainyo na mag-order ng book sa Fully Booked or Powerbooks? Ang dami kasing wala dito sa Pinas kaya napipilitan pa ako mag-order sa Amazon.

Yung Hunger Games Trilogy maganda. Isa sa mga fastest reads ko yan, I think I finished the 3 books in less than 2 weeks. Page turner talaga eh...masasabi ko na it's one of the better reads I had last 2011! And tamang tama yan pag binasa mo in time for the movie!

Hindi rin ako masyadong natawa sa pb 23, unlike yun earlier compilations. I think it was because of the politics/religion themed jokes? it's either I can't relate or I feel uncomfortable about the topic...

Ok naman mag pa-reserve ng book sa Fully Booked, although minsan wala talaga yung book na hinahanap mo. You could try ebay.ph para mas mura? Or bookmooch.com, you just have to be a member and register to get books for free (the only thing you'll pay for is shipping, or you can meet-up yata if payag yung other member?)

I loled a few times while reading pb 23 pero Solstice is right, it's not a funny as the other books, imho.

Nag-aagawan pa kami ng kapatid ko, haha! Excited rin sya for the Hunger Games movie, sabi ko tapusin niya muna yung ASoFaI nya e, then trade kami after :rofl

Nice! I'm a Murakami Haruki fan too, I'm currently looking for his other books. I've read Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman, Kafka on the Shore, After Dark and What I Talk about when I talk about Running. AWSC is part of the Trilogy of the Rat, right? Hindi ko pa kasi complete yung books so I haven't read that yet

I love how surreal his books are. Parang made on drugs pero may sense naman, haha. It takes me a while to absorb everything. I always take my time while reading a Murakami book so I don't miss anything.
His syle reminds me of Margaret Atwood. They have that surreal thing going on in almost all of their books.

Oo nga eh..Im about halfway through with PB23 pero napansin ko na umpisa pa lang hindi siya kasing funny nung mga previous books. Pero ok na din, its a lighter way of keeping up with present day concerns, compared sa panonood lang ng news everyday na puro bad news lang din naman ang laman (that or mostly showbiz nonesense).

BTW, if may mga hanap kayo na books, try niyo sa mobilism.org. Minsan they upload books there na hard to find. Para hindi niyo na kelangan order through Amazon, hassle kasi satin dito sa pinas dahil medyo mahal ang shipping fee. Yun nga lang, ebook format sila shempre so you would have to read it through a device, pero ok na din siya na alternative.

i've read Kafka on the Shore, Sputnik Sweetheart and Dance, Dance, Dance. Kasisimula ko pa lang nitong AWSC. Sabi nila mahirap daw basahin mga Murakami, siguro kung conservative ka oo (medyo sexualy explicit / psychedelic /surreal ang themes nya), pero sa akin ayos lang Pricey yung books nya so yung first 3 na nabasa ko na novels nya ay hiram lang, etong AWSC sa wishlist ko lang nung Christmas galing. Book worm ako pero kuripot ako sa pag bili, mabilis kasi ako magbasa kaya matatambak lang sa bahay pagkatapos so parang sayang lol.

Anyway, next ko siguro yung Norwegian Wood, kasi may movie version daw coming this 2012

Barely a week in and Im almost done with the 1st book (A Game of Thrones). Definitely a good way to start my book reading this year! And happy because I know there 4 more books in the series already available and ready to read!

and when you finish book 5. mapapa shet ka na lang considering wala pang definite date kung kailan matatapos yung series, tapos ifafactor mo pa yung content (iwas spoiler comment na lang hehe).
