^^All correct Pafs.

I'd rather have something saved for myself than nothing at all.

Great read!

http://www.thepracticalsaver.com/can-sa ... ey-be-bad/
tama naman eh. this article can be summed up with "you save for the future, spend for the current times" ,balanced ika nga.

at may karugtong pa iyan, hindi na daw ako gumagastos?
as if hindi ako nanonood ng sine, kumakain sa labas, bumibili ng damit, nag-tatravel at sa gaming
parati ko naman kinukwento sa kanila yan. :surprise:

if you think about it the other side of extreme saving is not really spending but is that it is not balanced.
lets say kung ang budgeting system mo is ganito: 10 % savings, 10 % hobbies, 80% everything else
so in short kung tumaas sweldo mo, tataas din actual amount ng hobbies mo definitely ,
so in effect pwede ka nang bumili ng mas marami o mas mahal na hobbies but its still 10%. :2thumbs:

Sa tuwing may nakikita akong article o blog entry na "things you should not wait to do until you retire", ito ang madalas na nababanggit...

Travel (madalas #1)
Healthy diet and life style
Find a hobby
Invest
Start a business
Lord, grant me the strength to be content where I am, the patience to wait on Your timing, & the faith to remember that You have Your hand always on my heart. Amen.

Maybe because not everyone wants a family or ina-assume na meron nang family pag retire na.

Hehe.

Why not, kaya nga meron ako ditong MISB (Mint In Sealed Box). Who knows, baka i can duplicate that guy who sold his G1 Optimus for $12,000....Honestly, kahit i collect toys, minsan iniisip ko rin how much ito in the future when i sell it on eBay....

Same with NBA Cards...Nung HS ako laging ubos baon ko sa NBA Cards....

Sa init ng panahon ngayon, me mga nagtatanong sa akin why i don't buy myself an ice cream.

And finally, a bottled water costs less compared to a Selecta solo pack...And hindi naman ako talaga maka ice cream na tao....

Kami ng utol ko nahumaling sa marvel cards noon lalo na yung mga hologram tapos ako sa magic cards naman.... sa edad kong to, i'm still bitter about the mox jet i sold to a stranger for 1000 pesos. :banghead: If I had known its value noon, i should've held on to it longer.

Pag nasa labas ako at tinamaan ng uhaw, i prefer buying gatorade instead of water.

Hehe.

But in the end...

I don't need video games and funko pops but I spend money on these because it makes me happy and gives me enjoyment.
