A successful game for me eh hours of gameplay and I admit that the trophy hunting does help extend the gameplay. What I hate about gaming mostly is the multiplayer side of gaming, I tend to steer away from games na MP ang mostly reason for playing like COD and Street Fighter V. I like how SFV looks though, I'm just useless when it comes to fighting games.

My work is stressful and gaming ang vent ko, when I'm at home, I don't want to talk about work much. My wife isn't a gamer but she tolerates it as much as possible because she knows that it's my hobby and it keeps me from being restless at home, I got that going which is nice.

Speaking of society, I've met a few people na di aware that they are pirating games. Like yung jailbroken na PS3, it's tough keeping a straight face while they talk about how incredibly cheap gaming on the PS3 is compared sa PS4. I recently had a chat with a friend who watched Kingsglaive so gusto nya bumili ng PS4, sabi ko magastos na hobby and kinwento nya yung "old times" where magdadala lang sya ng harddisk sa recto and for a small price eh may games na.

It's the only other hobby i got besides gaming that actually makes me go out and be with people. Only problem is that some of them, especially pinoys, can really be full of themselves. So i went back to gaming again pero hindi na kasing full time tulad ng dati.

Ayoko ng business model na dlc, paying for just a measly item or in sfv's case, buying characters pero yung grind to earn fight money is somewhat a chore which then forces you to cough up actual cash to obtain that character. It's annoying and defeats the purpose of playing games in the first place.

Hindi ba parang bias yun sa video relative to type of game?
Ok lang sa akin ang FPS games but not really a big fan of those.
Don't like those FPS scary games too.

Still, its a nice video presentation and may it serve as an eye-opener to those who don't understand us, gamers. :agree:

They got so addicted they even went so far as spending actual money for rare items - meron kinuwento tropa ko na yung barkada nya gumasta ng 60K for just 2 rare items, this was way back during the first version of ragnarok started getting big.

Same...I have a former officemate na every Wednesday e kailangan daw umuwi ng maaga...And nung tinanong ang reason, may "guild wars" daw sila sa Ragnarok every Wed...

Ewan pero hindi ko talaga trip MMORPG...Hanggang FPS & NBA lang ako when it comes to PC gaming..Saka bihirang bihira ako maglaro sa PC...I'm more of a handheld gamer...

Watched half of the video while I was preparing to go out and most of it is pandering and nonsense. I think most Ted Talks for me eh just jibberjabber.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjQQ9JYGgTM
When I was a kid I used to play Minecraft with my brother all the time. We would spend hours and hours just building cities and farms. I built a farm one time and my brother said "nice one man". Last year my brother died. I stopped playing Minecraft and my life was at a standstill. Then one day I heard the Minecraft theme music playing. I could not stop crying. But then it finally hit me. Instead of being sad of Minecraft I should be happy. Every time I play I should remember the good times we had when playing Minecraft. I should think of Minecraft as a celebration of my brother's life, not a deep sorrow. Now I play a lot like I used to play. Whenever I hear this song I smile now and not cry. This is my story of Minecraft, a simple game that brought two brothers together, a game that still connects me to my greatest friend I ever had.
