Guys, gusto ko sanang bumili ng UHD TV (aka 4K TV) for the HDR feature.

Not all 4k tv's have HDR though, it should be stated in the packaging or in the feature's list that the tv is HDR capable. I think the ps4 pro uses HDR10 which is the HDR standard anyway.

Hi sir, make sure na bibilhin mo ang hdr 10 supported tv.

Also better if may wide color gamut yung tv para true hdr experience makuha mo.

If budget and size is an issue, I'd advise to wait. Next year might be a better year to buy hdr TVs.

After an extensive amount of research, I think (considering the size and budget that you are looking for) this is the best TV for you.

http://www.sony.com.ph/electronics/tele ... s#features

It's got 4k, HDR10 support (with wide color gamut). And the price is pretty good at around 31,000-32,000 depending on the seller. I'm looking to get one for myself once I am able to sell my 40 inch TV (and I'm all aboard the PS4 Pro train CHOOOOOOOOO CHOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Here's a review: http://4k.com/tv/sony-x800d-review-4k-h ... br43x800d/

Last month ko nakita.

Question na rin mga pafs.

Bibilhin ko sana 49 inch version ng x800d, but the difference in price with the 43 inch one is around 15,000 pesos. Not worth it.

^ That's what I replaced my lemon Vizio M50-D1 with, picture quality is amazing, it has one of the lowest input lag according to ratings.com. It does have a power brick though for the 49 inch model.

The only issue would be if panget yung upscaler ng tv. Then sd content may not look too good.

Ive watched 480p content on my other 4k tv, and yung upscaler ng samsung maganda naman, not sure with tcl. But it could be worth looking at reviews first

I'm constantly flip-flopping here, and I think I might hold-off buying a TV until next year

Here's a good article to get you started on those who are looking to buy 4k HDR sets this year (spoiler: it's not going to be cheap if you want a 'true 4K HDR experience with acceptable input lag.'

Thanks for the feedback, ron_bato.
A definite, huge upgrade to my obsolete LCD TV.

1. Hold off and a buy a mew tv next year - these are the first generation of 4k hdr sets and next years sets will have a more robust feature set and at better prices.

2. 43w8000d - probably the best budget hdr set due to hdr10 support, 10 bit panel, wide color gamut. Kulang lang sa peak brightness to fully take advantage of hdr, but its a great busget set nonetheless (price is around 31k)

3. Go big and get the samsung 55 ks7000 (60k right now) - great picture qualiy, decent price for the fratures and hdr premium certified. Kaso medyo mahal and next year we could see sets with both hdr10 and dolby vision support.

Still unsure which route ill go hahahaha. But im leaning towards maybe waitig it out since i have a decent 4k tv right now anyway

Decisions, decisions

Ako I went with the sony xbr49x800d and I'm really satisfied with it, HDR10 supported with wide color gamut, pinagcompare ko sila ng samsung k7000 buti nalang magkatabi sila sa best buy and honestly wala ako nakitang difference hehehee
