Prince Of Persia. It was a nice movie.
I think Evil Dead was made into a movie?
Of course Super Mario Bros was made into a film back then

Splinter Cell never come into a fruition. Thomas Jane was announced to play Sam Fisher.
Oh yeah, Dead Or Alive and Tekken was made into a film.
Of course Street Fighter.

But the fan made Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist film is way much better than Van Damme's.

'Altered Beast' and 'Streets of Rage' coming to film and TV

Sonic the Hedgehog has apparently opened the floodgates on Sega adaptations. Sega Group's production arm is teaming with Fear the Walking Dead producer Circle of Confusion on adaptations of '80s and '90s classics Altered Beast and Streets of Rage, according to Variety. Beat 'em up game Streets of Rage pits your rogue cop against big city crime boss Mr. X, while sidescroller Beast features a resurrected Greek Warrior that transforms into powerful werecritters after defeating a suite of villains.

Sure, the plots are cliche, but so are zombies, and The Walking Dead team made that work. Anyway, it's more about tapping our childhood nostalgia, and those titles were among the most popular on Sega's Mega Drive/Genesis platforms. "We look forward to seeing the centurion from Altered Beast rise from his grave, and the Streets of Rage heroes Adam, Axel and Blaze fight to take their city back," said Stories International CEO Tomoya Suzuki.

Ironically, the original Altered Beast arcade version finishes with a cut scene showing that everything was just a movie, so we'll be interested to see if they break that fourth (or fifth) wall again. Sega is also looking for partners on titles like Virtua Fighter, Crazy Taxi and Shinobi, and there's no word yet on which studios or broadcasters are taking on Altered Beast and Streets of Rage. In other words, don't expect to see them on the screen anytime soon.

NETFLIX ANNOUNCES CASTLEVANIA ANIMATED SERIES
http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/02/08/ ... ted-series

"This is very much Castlevania done in the vein of Game of Thrones," Shankar said of the project, noting that Warren Ellis, who wrote the series and is on board as a producer, "added so much depth to the material." Dracula's Curse followed Trevor Belmont as he fought to stop Dracula from ravaging Europe in the 1400's. Those fighting with him included Alucard, Dracula's son.

"[The series is] going to be R-rated as f***," Shankar said of the series' level of violence, as many entries in Konami's game series were rated M for mature due to blood and violence. Shankar's discussion of the series' more adult aims reconfirms a 2015 interview in which he said the show would be "America's first animated series for adults." At the time, Shankar, who has produced Dredd, The Grey, and more, said Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Young Justice were among the series inspiring the Castlevania series' art design.

Speaking to whether the franchise is aimed at the franchise's longtime fans or newcomers to the material, Shankar discussed his high hopes for the project, saying "this is going to be the best f*****g video game adaptation we've had to date."

'The Witcher' Is Being Turned Into A TV Series By Netflix & We Can't Wait To See A Real-Life Geralt

Fantasy fans and gamers alike have been waiting for this day and it has finally come true. Netflix is amidst developing a drama series based on Andrzej Sapkowski's 'The Witcher' and it will be based on the eight novels and story collections.

The same novels have been the source for CD Project Red's highly revered video games series of the same name and we can only imagine how the TV series would end up looking like. “Andrzej Sapkowski has created a rich and memorable world, at once magical and familiar,” said Erik Barmack, Netflix vice president, international series, in a statement. “We couldn't be more excited about bringing Netflix members around the world.”

“I'm thrilled that Netflix will be doing an adaptation of my stories, staying true to the source material and the themes that I have spent over thirty years writing,” added Sapkowski. “I'm excited about our efforts together, as well as the team assembled to shepherd these characters to life.”

Platige, the company behind the cinematic shorts and TV ads for the video game 'The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings' and 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' is also going to be the studio who will be working on the TV series. They have also worked on the teaser for the highly anticipated teaser video game 'Cyberpunk 2077'.

Plate Image is a company based in Warsaw, Poland who have expertise in animation and special effects. The company consists of 150 artists, designers and producers who will be working on the TV series.

Sean Daniel (The Mummy franchise, The Expanse) and Jason Brown (The Expanse) are executive producers on the project. "The Witcher stories follow an unconventional family that comes together to fight for truth in a dangerous world," explained Daniel and Brown. "The characters are original, funny, and constantly surprising, and we can't wait to bring them to life at Netflix, the perfect home for innovative storytelling."

Baginiski and Sawko further added: "There is a moral and intellectual depth in these books which goes beyond genre. It is a story about today and today's challenges, hidden under a fantasy cover. It is a story about us, about the monster and the hero inside all of our hearts."
