Stephen King's IT (2017)

This was a good remake but I still love the first one with Tim Curry because I was scared shitless after watching it as a kid. Nowadays, it's very difficult to find a movie that will scare me.

But I love horror movies.

The Big Sick.

My wife and I were expecting a total laugh trip but it turns out to be a rom com drama. My wife didn't like it, as she said it was depressing and not at all what she was expecting but I liked it. Wish my wife would just appreciate a movie as is, not for what she was expecting it to be.

Alien: Covenant

Maraming hindi nagandahan sa Alien Covenant lalo na yung mga purist, for me though, I love all the Alien movies so I still like the direction that Ridley Scott is currently taking it and I really look forward to the sequel kung matuloy man. And if you read the recently releases series of novels ng AvP, David is really in sync with the antagonist android sa story nun. Very good and higly recommended read if you have the time.

Also watched War for the Planet of the Apes yesterday, it's a good movie pero parang mas nagustuhan ko yung second.

^ Ok naman sa akin yun Alien: Covenant pero I think mas nagustuhan ko yun mga previous movies nito. Mas naramdaman ko dun yun survival ng mga tao against the aliens. Hindi naman siguro ako matuturing na purist, ne? hehe
