I still buy and read a few hard copy magazines, TopGear, C!, EGM, PC buyer's guide.

And I'll just throw it here. I still have those GamesMaster PH magazines. :bigmouth:

Due to my job, here's what i'm reading:
- BluePrint
- ArchiKonst
- MyHome
- YES! Magazine (Annual Collection of Celebrities' Homes)
- SEA Building
- D+C
^But i'm not buying them right away. I buy those at SALE price. BOOKSALE always have good collection of back issues mags that are on SALE.

As far with lifestyle Magazine i had (yup past tense):
- PC Buyer's Guide
- GamesMaster PH (I have every issue except their issue #0 featuring MGS2)
- Questor Magazine (yup the local Anime magazine. But i stop buying it when they started to put their own comic-strips)
- Culture Crash Comics (it's a mini-mag. featuring comic strips of flawless pinoy artwork. Most of it are anime-inspired but art is top-notch)
- Loading (it's an independent mini-mag for gaming. This is the only mag i know that insults are fully allowed in their fan mails which is hilarious. It featured Raymund Marasigan as a gamer in one of their issues. It had 6 to 8 issues only)

Right now i'm starting to buy SLAM! Philippines.

Is Slam magazine okay? Ang nipis kasi ng magazine na yan, so I don't bother picking it up. Feeling ko isang write up, konting pictures at puro ads lang.

Whenever I see GamesMaster, naalala ko yung panahon na sino kaya mag uumpisa ng gulo ngayon? :bigmouth:

Most of the SLAM mags i have are the original ones, but if i need to cut short on expenses, bumibili rin ako ng SLAM PH...Hindi ko na lang pinapansin ang local features nung Mag...

Sayang talaga Games Master ng Summit...Hay....How i wish i kept even 1 copy from my then collection, lalo na yung first look ng DS vs PSP...

Ok naman yung SLAM PH Magazine. 150php.

RE: GamesMasterPH Magazine
The good thing about is that, the mag is FULL OF CONTENTS. May freebies pang Game-DIsc. MMORPG nga lang. Pero still, for 100php magazine, their doing great.

The death of their Magazine is due to rampant Piracy of last-last gen games (XBOX, Dreamcast, PS2, NGC). & sponsor/partners can't keep up. Yup, sila nagpaliwanag in their last issue i think. Kung di bumabalik yung profit ng mga sponsors & ads dahil sa piracy, there's no point of supporting the magazine.

I guess since current gen & next gen today aren't prone to widespread piracy unlike PS2 & XBOX, it's a hightime GamesMasterPH should be back in the game. Kahit may internet for game reviews, iba pa rin yung may hawak at binabasa ka. SIguro ito yung magiging reason nila why they still can't come back. Reviews that are already available at the palm of your hands via internet.

I was back then dreaming of working for them.
Imagine, you're being paid to play games and attend gaming conventions.

Exactly...That time muntik na ko magsubmit ng resume sa Summit para makapagwork sa Games Master...

As for my mags, i don't shell out 400-500 bucks, masyado na mahal...Good thing meron Booksale...Ang SLAM PH is around 85-150, depende sa issue. Ang orig SLAM is between 200-300...I never repeated my mistake dati (mga 2002 ata yun), when i purchased EGM sa National Bookstore for 500.00 (new issue)....

In 2011, before my flight, i saw a then issue of Nintendo Power sa newspaper/magazine stand sa NAIA (featuring the soon to debut 3DS)...Bibilhin ko na sana when i saw the price tag...800.00 bucks...

The usual price tag of my Men's Health is from 60-70 bucks...Pero meron din magandang deal minsan, like Men's Health UK, mas makapal na pages, for 150 or less...Andami ko na naco collect na workout posters from Men's Health, which is beneficial for me.
Everybody wants Happiness, Nobody wants Pain...

I forgot to add. I bought EGM, GamePro & Tips & Tricks (Ito yung video game bible ko in 16-bit era)
But most of them are on Sale price. I only bought EGM & Gamepro pag Metal Gear ang cover. The most expensive i bought was GamePro in 1997 at 250-300php yata.

i aint even mad  nung nag start sya sa "beh bote nga" sa gma7 dun halatang virgin pa sya pero when she started doing sexy roles dun ko napansin that she isnt anymore. If i remember correctly, she did admitted via an interview years back na ang nakauna daw sa kanya is yung 2nd bf nya na non-showbiz din. Di naman halatang fan ako

btt: used to buy this A LOT way back, just for the comics, editorials and price list - 90's pipol especially those who played MTG here should recognize this mag  easy to carry around and plenty of contents to boot, love to read it while on my trono
