Coach tab is a hell of a coach to have gotten us this far with so many weaknesses in 3.0. Credit also goes to those guys who played their hearts out.

I hope blatche gets his fitness in check for the next tournament. Having a fat Andre blatche might be enough to get us to the finals, but it won't be enough to win consistently against the world's elite.

I think Castro will be a better player after another dominating tournament, despite this last game.

I have a love-hate relationship with Gabe norwood, but he always brings it. Excellent defensive performance these last three games, and in the entire tournament.

Thanks gilas 3.0 for a great tournament run!

Yeah.. Bonus na lang talaga maka score si Gabe pero yung defense niya is always there.. love how hc time those lob pass para maagaw.. i was rooting against pingris pero he did well in this tourney dahil di siya naging mareklamo.. pero kailangan na talaga "mabatak" ni Rosario sa mga major FIBA tourney..

While different thing kung sa wild card, hopefully we can get this program running until the wild card phase. Sana si clarkson in talaga, si parks i hope he stays in game shape we need them to complement blatche, castro, rdo, snd the rest of the team

Sana magpahiram na ang SMC teams (kahit si Fajardo and Lasitter manlang) and dapat mag adjust ang PBA dahil concern ang schedule conflict. Qualifiers is on July 4-10.

unless matuto ang Gilas dumipensa without fouling mahihirapan talagang magchampion. naging habit na kasi ng iba na sumundot kahit alam ng tinatawagan ng foul yung mga ganon sa international tournament.

Same sana sa susunod mag pahiram na SMC. Bad calls aside I think the Chinese is really the best team in Asia for now, they have height and athleticism not to mention ang babata pa nung mga core players nila. I'm quite disappointed kay Blatche and Castro kahapon especially kay Blatche, I think he should've attacked the basket more instead of settling for outside shots ako kay Romeo and Abueva talagang aggressive sila going to the basket kahit malalaki bantay nila, it's just too bad na marami silang mintes na ft's. This team overachieved IMO kahit sandali lang sila nagkasamasama nakuha pa ren nila silver. I believe na sandaling panahon nalang and Gilas will be Asia's best bball team

True. Bad calls aside, Ubos na din talaga tayo. The shots from the outside werent falling anymore for us plus i could have counted at least 5 attempts from downtown from china that werent contested. Yung isa nga, he checked where his feet was before launching the shot, ganun ka-wide open yung mga tira sa labas ng china. They have that similar downscreen play from korea wherein nalilibre yung wing or corner three.

I think castro played the best possible way he could last night. Hirap na rin siya maginitiate ng offense kasi clogged yung lane at sa kanya lahat nagcollapse. Plus iba rin talaga effect ng mga fouls na kinarga sa kanya at sa ibang players nating. That 7 2 dude was always there waiting for him as well as yi.

I think things can only get better for gilas. Terrence will learn from this and eventually siya na susunod kay castro na maging big shot maker natin and he will learn to initiate the offense better. Si calvin naman i cant say enough about him. He tried to keep us within bay with his drives and hustle plays kaso checked na rin yung drive-to-the-right game niya. I think he will also get better with this and he needs to work on a decent perimeter game. Antics aside, i liked the swagger he brought to our team in times of need.

Hopefully next year we can get junemar, clarkson and either a lassiter or parks. Mahirap man yung wild card but who knows baka makakuha pa tayo ng isang slot through that way.

I couldn't fault Castro for the way he played yesterday. Sobrang well scouted na siya and you can see that China game planned superficially for him. He got to the basket, pero nahirapan lang mag finish. He will get better from this experience, and as we add more shooters and offensive options, di na nakaka load up mga opposing teams sa kanya.

Sobrang idol pa din, especially sa Lebanon and Japan games, those two games were some of the most entertaining games I've seen from him.

Tungkol sa bad calls. Naisip ko lang, hindi kaya tama yung mga tawag? Pero masyadong malaki at malalakas yung players ng china kaya full force players natin mag physical game.

it's more of the non calls talaga.. like yung slap sa face ni Norwood na harap harapan sa lead ref.. though naka bawi next play dahil tumawag ng travelling.. pero sayang yun may pagkakataon sana umatake kasi di pa organized yung defense ng China.. if naka score sa play na yun baba sana sa 6 yung lamang.. Tatlong beses yata tumira si Ranidel sa tres na kitang kita na may contact and even kay Castro.. Though may mga non call din naman na pabor sa atin lalo na sa mga sundot and tapik..

Lupit din ng defense ng china sa perimeter we couldnt clean shots from downtown. Check yung perimeter game natin which made it difficult talaga for castro.

Pero sobrang proud ako sa gilas. They lost magnanimously with pride and they held their heads up high sa talo. Sana kasi wala na lang wild card eh hahahaha. Gold or bust talaga....

nopes.. ang lumalabas pa ngayon hawak ng SMC kapalaran ng Gilas sa qualifier next year.. so people will once again plead for SMC to lend their top players..

Mukhang hindi pala sasali ang Gilas sa Olympics qualifier.. Siguro malapit na mag give up si MVP.. di ko ma gets ano dapat paghandaan sa 2017 eh wala na siguro makakahigit sa goal na makabalik sa Olympics.. secondary lang FIBA world na nakabalik na tayo last year..

I think FIBA 2019 ang gusto paghandaan ni MVP. Problema ng Gilas 3.0 eh average age.
Gusto nya tularan yung ginawa ng China sa team nila.
