That's why for me wala pang teams ang deserving maging champions or finalist dahil lang sa regular season standings nila..no matter how dramatic yung naging improvement ng isang team from the previous season.. if may makakalaglag sa Hawks and Warriors sa playoffs then sila ang mas deserving makapasok sa finals.. For me somehow totoo yung clichÃ© na ang totoong simula ng season ay yung playoffs..

Yup. Like my unc used to say to me when we were watching NBA games before...Iba ang Playoffs sa Regular Season....

Who knows, maybe the Spurs will pick themselves up & start killing teams in the playoffs again...

No disrespect to the Pacers, but i am rooting for the Heat to get the final seed in the East...They can give the Hawks a good scare...

and it's a whole different ball game to go against certain team in a 7 game series specially if maharap ang isang team na higher seed sa isang team na lower seed that could give them match-up problems.. may instances din na sa regular season na sweep ng isang team yung makakatapat nila sa playoffs then.. biglang playoffs the tables were turned kasi napaghandaan na silang mabuti.. si both players and coaches sa playoffs talaga natetest if ready sila..

i know who are the hawks fans and hawks admirers here sa thread.

Tsaka alam ko naman magaling ang HAWKS, huwag ninyo akong baliktarin haha, ang sa akin kung sinong talagang #1 team sa NBA (based sa standing) ... magkakaalaman na kaya ng post ako sa thread. Mali pala pagkakaintindi ninyo. Paano ko masasabi kung sinong mas magaling between the Warriors at Hawks kung hindi pa sila naglalaban ng February 6? Bakit pinapanood ko ba laban ng Hawks? Kaya kating kati na nga ako maglaban sila 3 weeks away pa. Kaya after the game ng Feb 6, isa ako na nagpatotoo/witness na kayang kaya nila mga western conference kasi majority noong panalo nila ay East games. Tsaka iyong last week before they played the Warriors on Feb 6 ang tindi ng schedules nila Thunder, Blazers, Warriors, Grizzlies.

Kung sinasabi ninyo at alam ninyo na magaling ang Hawks noon pa or after beating your favorite team ... (again i know who are the hawks fan here hindi po para sa inyo ang comment na eto) eh bakit hindi ninyo sabihin sa thread na "Uyy mas magaling pala ang Hawks against .. the Cavs/Bulls/Warriors/Blazers/Rockets/Grizzlies/Thunder"? Ohhh eh bakit walang nagsasabi matapos talunin team ninyo? Wala akong nabasang acknowledgement ,,, kasi doubtful pa kayo, pero ngayon agree na kayo?

Puro usapin tungkol kay Lebron, Cavs, Harden, Westbrook, awards noong January and February. Maybe because there is no love sa Hawks? or dahil hindi parin kayo kumbinsido. Walang masyado nagsasabi or mailan ilan lang, kaya i second the motion na legit sila at hindi tsamba mga panalo nila after playing the Warriors. Sorry no one can read your minds kung kino-consider ninyo na contender ang Hawks or kung matagal na kayong believe sa Hawks ... based sa history ng thread walang proof kasi hindi kayo nagsasalita ... kaya iyong sagot ninyo na alam ninyo noon pa .... sorry i don't believe it haha. Tsaka nagtatalo pa nga kayo bakit nakuha ang Hawks Teams ng award kaysa kay Lebron haha ... doon palang duda parin kayo bakit ibinigay ang award sa Hawks. Hinihintay ko lang maglaro ang Cavs bago ako magsalita ulit, as i already expected/predicted what Lebron/Cavs fans are gonna say after the Hawks beat the Cavs with their upgraded lineup? defensive mode "nah matagal ko ng alam magaling ang Hawks" ... sure sure Mas pinapaboran pa nga ang Bulls kaysa sa Hawks ... wala talagang pagmamahal sa Hawks.

Yup pagdating sa playoffs magkakaalaman talaga kung sinong mas magaling. Sana pumasok ang Hawks sa Finals.

You're contradicting yourself. You don't watch the Hawks, so the Feb 6 game wouldn't change anything. You can't just say "I'm a believer" AFTER ONE GAME. It's not enough data to decide who'll win on a 7-game series.

The Hawks are a TEAM. Where we supposed to talk about Jeff Teague winning the MVP when he virtually has no chance compared to the superstars? Would you say that the Spurs had no love these past two years just because we didn't include Duncan in the MVP conversation? You act like you're new to the NBA. We're talking INDIVIDUAL awards, not team success.

You don't have to be a fan of the team to like or appreciate them. We're not homers.

This is coming from a (primarily) Anthony Davis, Dante Exum, Thon Maker, and Ben Simmons fan. I never even talk about Dante Exum, because what's the point right now?

Unang una walang kinalaman pagiging LeBron fan ko sa pag react sa comment mo lalo na wala ka naman sinabing masama kay LeBron or sa Cavs na dapat ika disappoint nor dahil you posted this after manalo ng Hawks sa Cavs.. Pwede mo ipost ito kahit sinong team ang talunin ngayon ng Hawks and you'll still get the same reaction from me and perhaps the other NBA fans here.. personally nag react ako kasi i find it silly dahil unang una it never happened na you said legit ang hawks and we shot you down.. or you're trying to convince us pero we rejected you.. diba walang nangyaring ganun.. never na mas nauna mong narealize kaysa sa amin na legit threat ang hawks.. narealize mo lang after matalo ang warriors mo.. di rin namin kailangan mag react sa bawat panalo ng hawks sa iba pang contending teams.. and yung paguusap usap/share namin dito ng ibang topics shows na even may mga sarili kaming players or team na sinusundan nagpupunta kami dito dahil initially were basketball fans.. hindi rin naman palaging si james harden or si lebron pinag uusapan dito gaya ng hawks.. namemention din namin how good the warriors are and even steph curry..

in short.. hindi lang ikaw ang marunong maka appreciate and certainly hindi ikaw ang unang naka appreciate sa hawks..

TBS.. he's career is kinda dead and I serioisly feel for rose.. lalo ako nanghinayang na hindi siya nakasama sa ASG na pwede sana na last hurrah niya.. he's doing a dwyane wade na nga para ma maintain yung kness niya.. pero bumigay pa rin.. pero i admire him because sa mga
previous games he didn't held back na and played like his 2011 self..

Nung bumalik si MJ sa Bulls.. never ako nakaramdam ng kaba against any other teams.. siguro dahil elementary pa lang ako nun and everytime matatalo sila ang tingin ko pinagbigyan lang sila ni Jordan..

parang wala akong kabilib bilib sa Knicks, Heat, Pacers, Hawks, Sonics, and Jazz nun.. napaka single minded ko nun and always believed na no way matatalo ang Bulls because nasa kanila yung best player.. pero nung medyo nagmature na doon ko naappreciate and namiss yung heat bannered by zo, tim, and si monster mash nandun na din yata, yung knicks ni Ewing, and I think si dennis harper yung guard nila nun, yung pacers, syempre by Miller and the Davis brothers..

Correct. If there's a team who deserves more love, it's the Grizzlies. We don't talk about them as much, but we all know they're very, very dangerous.

Speaking of Miller..
I watched an old interview video of him. He's talking about about MJ. That MJ is the player who you musn't trash talk with.
Because MJ is the only player he knows that can embarrass trash talkers on the court once they opened their mouths.

i agree di masyado napaguusapan ang grizzlies.. but compared sa hawks and warriors sa mga previous seasons madami din nag expect na aabot at least WCF ang grizzlies.. and i think with Marc Gasol playing his best season yet malaki possibility na iupset nila yung mga favorites this in season like the rockets and wariors.. actually i won't be surprise if umabot sa WCF ang either sa grizzlies, spurs, and okc.. mas matimbang for me yung track record ng mga teams na yan sa post season kaysa sa current record nila sa regular season

I think he's already an asset with his shot blocking and rebounding, though definitely dapat ipolish pa.. pag nagkaroon pa siya ng good inside game or decent post up or face up moves he could challenge AD.. the thing is mukhang walang good big man coach ang Miami..

Dirk's rapid decline+Monta's slump+injuries+tough schedule = 8th place and another 1st round exit

losing Aminu was big, he's the Mavs best forward since the all star game. Laking bagay/impact ng mid season trades ng Cavs unlike sa Mavs

IMO Aminu's increased playing time is the reason kung bakit tumaas DRTING ng Mavs and hinde si Rondo.

tough schedule too. 9 of their last 16 games are against top 8 seeds in the west. If they're going to start turning things around, has to start with these games.
