Sige bro, pm ko sayo mamaya yung contact number ng store, naiwan ko kasi sa kotse yung receipt eh. Yung kinuha ko na iphone 16gb lang kasi music and a few photos lang naman ilalagay ko kasi ipad naman gamit ko movies and other media.

Kung bibili ka, isipin mo lang din kung ano mga plans mo for the iphone. Kung balak mo lagyan ng mga games, movies, music etc, baka mas ok ng 32gb. Hindi ko lang sure kung magkano kasi hindi ko na natanong dahil 16gb lang talaga habol ko. Pero kung music lang naman, ok na ok na siguro maski 16gb lang. Pero kung yun nga, kungbibili ka din ng NGP for gaming, I think the 16gb iphone would be enough na din.

naku fafs... maraming salamat sige hintay ko PM mo... good suggestion too... i guess i'll go for 16GB na nga lang ^_^

yes narevive ko pa omnia 2 ko (sobrang bagal na kasi eh) installed the Android Eclair OS beta 1 bigla siyang bumilis, sa winmo 6.5 kasi sobrang bagal magtext lang aabutin ka ng minuto

Ako din eligible na for an upgrade from Verizon pagbalik ko sa US this coming March...kaya lang pag nag upgrade kasi ako from my regular Verizon phone doon, yung usual bill ko which is around $50 lang a month, tataas to almost $100 which is almost double dahil ma require ako to add a Data plan plus yung regular usage pa on top of that. Nasasayangan kasi ako dahil most of the time naman, marami free wifi areas and where I currently work there which is at Barnes and Noble has free wifi pa din.
Kaya I opted to buy a prepaid iphone 4 na lang na prepaid, at least wala required data plans / packages and no other fees na ko na iintindihin. Maganda pa dun was that yun nga, I was able to trade in my 2G iphone...kasi sa totoo lang, mahirap na ibenta yun as 2nd hand lalo na sa US.

Nabili ko pala yung iPhone 4 sa greenhills kahapon.
Locked sa Globe yung phone pero prepaid. Ibig sabihin 4.2.1 na siya and eligible for all future updates dahil nga locked naman sa carrier unlike kung bibili ka ng papaunlock and jailbreak mo. Ang alam ko kasi pag unlocked lang + jailbroken which my old iphone was, hindi pwede i-update dahil babalik sa pagiging locked yung phone.

Price was 36K pero nakuha ko ng 34k. I was able to trade in my old iphone 2G for 8k worth...ok na din since gamit na gamit naman yung phone ko although maingat naman ako kaya wala naman sira or anything. Mahina na lang talaga yung battery after almost 31/2 years of use and abuse as an ipod na din. I also traded in an old Samsung slide phone for an extra 1k...kaya nakabawas pa ng konti sa babayaran ko.

All in all, I paid 25K for the phone tapos nag dagdag na lang ako ng extra 400 for the capdase case and for transfer ng contacts and photos ko from my old phone.

Bro, ganun pala yun Ano ba difference ng unlock sa jailbreak if I want to buy an Iphone.

Basically Im looking for an Iphone except I want to change network provider to Smart but still be able to "update". Possible ba yun?

Unlocked = Walang specific carrier
Jailbroken = Apps don't necessary come from apple appstore, pwede self install.

Hmm...sa pagkaka alam ko kasi, wala pang iphone na legally unlocked to any carrier. Mga lumalabas na open to any carrier (smart / globe / sun / etc..) have to be "unlocked". Ang drawback lang nun, pag inupdate mo yung iphone to a new ios later on, malalock uli yung phone and you woul have to have it unlocked uli.
Unlike yun kapag tulad nung nabili ko na locked naman talaga sa globe ( i guess same case kapag locked sa at&t), pag nag update ka ng ios, walang magiging conflict sa carrier / sim na gamit mo.

Yung sa pag jail break naman, hindi ako familiar sa scene ngayon kaya hindi ko alam kung may magiging problem ba or wala sa pag update ng jailbroken na iphone.

finally, meron nang official announcement for the xperia play (aka playstation phone). might get this to replace my iphone 3g. still thinking whether to get this or the xperia arc. nipis kasi nung xperia arc. downside lang for SE android devices, nabasa ko online na di sila ganun kasipag mag-roll-out ng mga adroid updates.

ako i'd probably pass on that kasi padating na rin yung NGP na for sure mas powerful... in terms of cellphones kasi para biassed na ko sa apple iphone since i've been a sure sobrang dami kong gamit non specially, i used it as my everyday music gadget now, for iphone 4 i'm looking forward sa video calling tru 3g or facetime/skype...

Baka sabay nila ilalabas along with iPad 2... for now though, i'm happy and content with what the iphone 4 can do, pinaka vital kasi sakin was yung front facing camera so I can video chat from US using either YMessenger or skype.

no doubt about NGP being a more powerful gaming device, no contest there. to buy the xperia play as a gaming deice would be foolish IMO. i would be buying the xperia play as a very solid android phone that will replace my old and battered iphone 3g. i just like the fact that i can play my fave psone classics on my phone as well as use the GBA emulator with buttons instead of a touchscreen!
