ilang beses na rin naman kasi nabago ang Bible eh ... at word of mouth lang dati ang pagpasa at minsan nae exaggerate lang nung nagkekwento...

Sabi ng prof ko may bonus daw kami sa midterm kung kungwari naniniwala siya ng walang God, paano namin siya mapapaniwala/macoconvince na meron.. tapos dapat daw mabara namin yung mga isasagot niya.. paano kaya?

May nabasa ako about sa "designer".. pero mukhang may maisaagot pa din siya eh.. kasi ako may naiisip pa din ako na explanation.. and kung may desginer/creator.. can we really assume na that is "God"?

May sinabi pa siya eh, na God = Perfection, then if he is that powerful bakit kailangan pa ng 7 days bago mabuo ang mundo kung kaya naman in 1 day? And ako naman naisip ko, kung si God talaga ang creator, sino naman ang nag create sa kanya?

BTW catholic yung prof ko and mukhang religious, siya din kasi head ng choire kapag may mass sa school.

kung tama ang pagkaka-intindi ko, hindi naman talaga nya intensyon gumawa ng tao in the first place. hindi lang sya na satisfy sa mga unang ginawa nya kaya gumawa sya ng mga hayop, then a male human then a female human. and 1 day for God doesnt mean 24 hours. its a vast amount of time that we dont know. could be a million or billion years.

God = creator hindi ka naman tatawaging God kung hindi ikaw nag-create.

For me creator != God. Paano kung pinagawa lang sa kanya?

Pero seryoso, keep ti coming lang guys kung meron kayo maisip na magandang pang convince sa isang tao na may God.

if God commanded somebody to create us He will surely mention it in the bible.

kung sya'y inutusan lang din ng iba then he cant be called "God", yung "God" ang naguutos.

Nabanggit yan sa lesson namin about 5 proofs of God's Existence.. Under siya ng Motion..

the 7 days is more of symbolic rather than literal days. it seeks to separate the phases of creation into "days". tandaan, Genesis was written about 3500 years before Christ, medyo simplistic pa ang understanding ng mga tao tunkol sa earth.

and God being God, wala siyang creator. kaya nga no beginning and no end diba? if He is a created being, eh di hindi siya God.

the King James version is one of the faulties translations every
Douay-Rheims would be one of the better translations from the Latin Vulgate

this will only apply to the beginning of Genesis. yung mga himala ni Jesus ay tunay na himala.

actually ang mga Jews magaling mag preserve ng word-of-mouth or oral tradition. nung nag exile sila sa Babylon, they couldn't bring their scriptures with them because they were huge, heavy scrolls. so they just brought what was memorized by the Levites. pag dating sa Babylon, they wrote it down again for their use. pag balik nila sa Jerusalem eventually after over 100 years, they retrieved their original scrolls and compared it with what they wrote from memory. they got it almost to the word.

nag simula lang isulat ang Bible because the Greek gentiles were intellectuals who demanded writings to read, rather than oral teachings. the Jews like to listen from teachers, that is why Jesus never commanded any of the Apostles to write down anything.

eto lang kasi yun, ang Christian faith nag-ce-center sa salvation of our souls from sin. pano ba na-accomplish yun? Christ dying and ressurecting. kung naniniwala ka na namatay at muling nabuhay si Jesus, bakit hindi mo papaniwalaan na ginawa niyang alak ang tubig? o nag lakad siya sa tubig? o nagpakain siya ng 5000 gamit lang ang 5 tinapay at 2 isda?

heresy ang sabihin na symbolism lang ang mga milagro sa Bibliya.

sa dinami-dami ng myths about pagan gods, si Jesus lang ang God na naging tao and sacrificed Himself to save mankind. yung mga ibang gods eh laging conqueror or nang-chi-chicks lang.
