You should read the manga. Sobrang ganda kaya nung huling game nila. If tinatamad ka basahin siya sa simula then you should skip the ones you watched in the anime. Slam Dunk is one of the few animes that is faithful to what was showed in the manga. Ofcourse with the exception of the final game in the anime (Shoyo+Ryonan vs Shohoku), that never happen in the manga. I guess they needed an ending match for the anime, kaya nila ginawa yun.

As for your other question,para sa bagong series....

Isa lang ang napapansin ko kasi, haven't read the manga but i'm kinda intrigue with it.

Natatawa ako sa sinasabi mo. Slam Dunk is one of the few manga's out there that you easily read and understand how they moved. Takehiko Inoue is really good portraying movement. Out of all the mangas I red, his are easily understood. Try reading slam dunk at the same time watch the anime. Magugulat ka, how similar yung anime at manga. It's gonna take a little bit of imagination but if you play basketball, hindi ka mahihirapan maintindihan yung manga.

It's either you have little imagination or you just get easily bored reading kaya hindi mo maappreciate yung manga. Try reading Initial D, sasakit ang ulo trying to imagine yung pace nung race. I gave up on that manga at the same time I wanted to know the next story (haay, dilemma).

Anyway...

If you haven't seen the end of slam dunk, you should read it. Hindi kayo ma disappointed sa conclusion nila.

hey guys. it's been a while since i watched a decent anime.

i used to watch naruto and bleach until nagsawa ako.

highschool of the dead was good but naging dragging in the end. d.gray man naman boring tapos darker than black's pace was too slow for me.

any recommendations?

The hardest thing when recommending anime is that hindi tayo pare-pareho ng trip.

From what you posted though mukhang may inclination ka to Shounen series na may action. I'd say try Nurariyon no Mago or Fairy Tail.

Meron pa nga yun parang gaya-gaya sa Ninja Scroll... yun ninja insurrection ba yun? napanood ko pero iba pa rin ang Ninja Scroll. Nga pala, napanood ko rin yun Ninja Scroll TV series. :)
