Sigurado kaya na lalabas din dito sa Pinas yung The Best edition nito? Ayos yun for me kasi wala halos nagbebenta nito ng second hand at ang mahal pa sa mga tindahan kaya yung The Best nalang bibilhin ko. Naisip ko lang kasi na baka di umorder nito yung mga local stores kasi mukhang marami pa silang stock nung regular version.

Calling out DS R1 players na mahilig mag pvp! Aware ba kayo about the Hunter's Guild for DS? It's a chatroom where players meet and arrange duels. They're the ones who place their blue or red soul sign on top of the first rock in 4-1. Their Soul Levels are around 120 +-.

how about we make a similar group/system for pinoy players?

The system goes like this:

The Host summons Blue Phantoms and a Black Phantom (using red eye stone), and the phantoms take turns dueling against each other. When a phantom dies, the host just summons another one or the same phantom again.

ADVANTAGES:
-get better by fighting more
-test actual damage of weapons/spells
-you can choose to do sparring and not really kill each other (e.g. stop when second chance gets activated)
-test your build/setup
-test battle strategies/techniques
-you won't lose the souls you're carrying when you get killed as a phantom
-serves as a practice group before progressing to the big league (hunter's guild: the players are extremely good and
ruthless even on new members, and not all people agree to do sparring sessions)
-adds more value / playing time for DS
-we can host our own tournaments someday

DISADVANTAGE:
-you lose a soul level when you die
>but you WON'T lose the souls you are carrying (compared to getting killed as an INVADER BP or getting killed as a
Blue Phantom, wherein you lose some of ur souls <half a soul levels worth of souls>)
>basically you only lose the number of souls you got for that soul level

Pinoy DS PvP Club has officially started!

Last night/this morning, nag PvP Sparring Session kami ni Diviant at ATR-MEL. We did it first sa 1-3 with mel as the host then we moved to 4-1 with me as host kasi masyadong masikip ang 1-3. Ang saya namin! Minsan naging killing instead of sparring kasi nalilimutan mag Second Chance o hindi naka notice na na-activate na ang Second Chance. And there was virtually no lag when we were playing!

Yung mga interested na mag-join, level up niyo na yung PvP builds niyo to around level 120. With a level 120 host, pwedeng maka-summon ng level 100-140. We will try to help you in making the weapons you need. Kasi we want a good fair fight, hindi yung natatalo ka dahil hindi +5 yung weapon mo. Kung masyadong mataas naman ang level niyo, we can soulsuck you to your desired level and then you can soulsuck us back so you can get your souls back. Preferably mas maganda rin kung may Red Eye Stone kayo so pwede kayo mag black phantom anytime. Also, don't rely on Poles (Mirdan Hammer, War Scythe, Halberd) too much, it gives you a false sense na magaling ka dahil madali kang nakakapatay dahil sa stunlock, when in fact yung weapon lang ang magaling, hindi ikaw.

This is a better way to get better in PvP compared to invading kasi sa invading kasi, more often than not, mga newbies ang mga nakakalaban mo (yung mga tipong naka Brushwood set at ibang heavy armor sets,lol).

DS PvP gives more value to this game kasi when all is said and done (kasi madali lang ma-master at plat yung game), PvP nalang ang masaya later on.

yup. region 1. you'll be there in no time pre, like after 35-50hrs si gorilya ako for a 1st character.

Nice may ganyan na pala sa DS. Hindi kasi ako magaling sa pvp. I remember nung may black phantom na nag invade sa amin, 3 na kami 1 lang siya pero pinatumba niya kaming lahat ng firestorm. Embarrassing.

I'm not that good rin at PvP, but I can say I got a little better by fighting better players. That's what this PvP "club" is for, so we can grow to be better PvPers by fighting/dueling MORE. Sabi nga ng founder ng Hunter's Guild for DS, "If you seek to learn from us, you would only benefit from losing, that's where the learning curve kicks in".


DS PvE/Offline: boring after getting plat (60-70 hrs)

DS PvP: bored after making 8 character builds and after 1000+ hrs

Chamba lang yun, Div may naisip ako tungkol dun sa balak natin gawin na special character. May isa pa pala akong character SL 123, sya nalang gawin natin alam mo na... Soul Suck mo nalang yun. Tagal pa kasi kung gawa tayo new.
