but then looking up to my example to T'wolf about having 2 or more worthy releases each month, some of the games would be featured as a classic by then
hah? I never said that...
ang sinabi ko lang is that dapat "Featured Game" ang title to avoid confusion...
"my example" po... meaning I gave an example as a reply to you... I never said that you said it

Regarding what I think about what should be considered a classic -- a classic doesn't have to be bound by time frame, popularity and scores, it could be anything exceptional or critically panned. Go wild with what you think a classic should be.
It doesn't always have to be a high scoring game, it could be something like Ironman. Check out the Ironman thread, the game is so bad everyone is posting hilarious remarks. You could call the game "classically awful."A classic could also be your personal favorite game that no one has ever played. You can mention why it's such an awesome game and why it deserves to be recognized.
You are not abiding by the rules set by other game websites. This is PinoyPS, not Neogaf or Gamefaqs.
half-ass? I'm not going half-ass about it... the reason why I'm asking questions from you so that I would get your whole idea to make it better... but it was not rushed. its just that we have decided to minimize what we feature first and add more along the way. as you said this is "This is PinoyPS, not Neogaf or Gamefaqs" we can do it our own way. but since you want something else why not listen to you. I was taking notes on your suggestions and criteria so we can suit it to you. our "features" is in line with the revival of http://www.pinoypsx.com
)as a blog or even a e-magazine. we're just taking baby steps and hopefully making it full-blown. I have to admit we lack a review "post" for the games chosen, making it look half-ass or half-baked, but then why not use the existing thread itself after all this is a forum.
about being a "classic", that's great way of classifying a game which goes beyond timeframe. but i just noticed that the same criterion you said is already applied with GotM. I am considering the ideas being raised, like having a classic and currently hot featured games so we can show more games and not sideline those also "worthy" due to 12-games-a-year restriction.
so just keep the ball rolling *ala-katamari*
OT: What comes into my mind when I hear the words classic games are Atari / NES games, actually
i'm glad we're focusing on more PS3 games
