What is the best Final Fantasy game for you? (We’ll focus more on mainline iterations that started on PlayStation consoles. And offline games only. But we can vote on the others too.)

I would have said 7 but it didn't age well so I went with FFIX. It was genuinely funny and entertaining for me.

*Puts on nostalgia-tinted glasses* It's a toss-up between VII and FF6 for me. Although, hiram ko lang dati yung SNES version kasi hindi ko pa masyado pansin noon ang JRPG. Yung VII ang dahilan kaya kumuha ako ng PS One. Pero meron din ako nung PC version ng VII yung 3Dfx / Glide version pa.

Of all the choices, I only played FFVIII, FFIX, and FFX.

FFIX Would have to be my favorite of the three.

Final Fantasy VI. Dun ko na-appreciate yung role-playing part ng game.

Final Fantasy VII sana dahil yun ang rason kaya ko gusto ng PS1 noon, pati Final Fantasy VIII, kaso namatay yung 1 character dun sa VII.

Final Fantasy IV was the first one I played in SNES. And I was absolutely hooked by it. Until today it still is the best one for me. Next two would be IX and X.

I dunno...but just this moment, something reminded me about the story of FFX.
Tidus and Yuna.
