i'm liking the lab puzzles lol

this game is soooo good, loving the combat and the traversal , web slinging through New York city never gets old

I soooo love this game. The webslinging is perfect. Ang only gripe ko lang talaga eh yung combat camera. Sana i-fix nila via update. Yung mga pag unscramble ng towers ripped-off from Batman Arkham series.

And that Stan Lee cameo is golden!

Open world game is not complete without Ubisoft towers.

Finished the game, about 88 percent complete, with just a few more side missions, challenges, and other side content to finish up.

If I had to give it a score, I'd give it a 9/10. Took me about 22 to 25ish hours at this point.

The core mechanics really lift this game up for me, the swinging, the movement, combat, all come together really nicely to make you feel like you are Spider-Man. They absolutely nailed this.

The story, writing, and performances were great. I was concerned that the performances by the VOs would be too over-the-top based on some of the marketing material, but they were all excellent (they shine particularly in the last third of the game). The story feels familiar, but the liberties insomniac took with the characters and story arcs felt fresh, and well executed.

Graphics are of course top notch, with the city being very dynamic and rich with detail. I abused photo mode in this game, it was such a fantastic game to just take all the sights in and set-up some fantastic shots with the photo mode. It has some of the most clean IQ of any open world game I've ever played, with the 4k implementation (via temporal injection) + hdr presentation being really clean. The game performs well too, although you do notice some frame drops in certain scenes - but overall it plays really smooth, with frame drops happening maybe 1 percent of the entire game.

Things I disliked though:

Some of the side content are boring and not well thought out. Now there are some good ones, and some with pretty good payoffs, but there's a lot of boring stuff in there as well, which is only saved by how well Spider-man plays.

The stealth sections are generally bad, with only two of them being particularly good (you'll know if you've played them).

And that's about it. It's a really polished experience, with great core mechanics, a strong narrative, and some of the most fun you'll probably have playing a game this year. I'm looking forward to the DLC between now and December, as I'm itching to get back into the game.

PS There are two post-credits scenes which are fantastic.

Just finished the game on Spectacular difficulty. 100% completed.

That ending was heartbreaking and gut-wrenching though. I absolutely loved this game. Swinging through the city and fighting crime never gets old in this game. I can't wait for the DLCs and the potential sequel.

And even if the game wasn't that hard even on the highest difficulty, the gameplay and the story sold me to it.

Very trending ang title ng next DLC. hehehe!

Ayan! last DLC na ata ito eh. Complete edition na ang susunod!

Complete Edition na lang ang bibilhin ko.

Planning to get this one in the future. Sana kapag natapos na ako sa ibang targets ko ay lumabas na rin ang Complete edition nito.

Nasimulan ko na din yung DLC nito last weekend. Tapos ko na yung The Heist DLC with Black Cat. Yung Turf Wars DLC medyo mahirap yung Hammerhead Front bases. Nasa unang base pa lang ako pero almost 3hrs na hindi ko pa din matapos sa dami ng wave ng enemies. Kaya itinigil ko muna para magpahinga. I need to plan on what battle mods to use.

When you finish all the DLC...we get a sneak peek at what's in store for the sequel and a tribute to Stan Lee.

The 3 new costumes added to Spider-Man Remastered are also added to the PS4 game.
