Spiderman Trailer from insomiac (PS4)

GAME OF THE SHOW

This looked really good, and it's good to note that this has nothing to do with the new movie. They've confirmed that this is open world of course. My last good memory of a good spiderman game was Spiderman 2. I hope this delivers, but I'm confident insomniac will pull this off!

I'm glad the Spiderman license is gone from Activision.

This is some spectular news. I actually enjoyed The Amazing Spider-Man movie tie-in by Beenox but it was obvious that they weren't the dev to make a great Spidey game even with their intimate connection with the IP. Hats off to them for a good run but this is really where it's at.

I'm getting an Arkham-feel in terms of game design treatment. Finally.
Teka is that costume official or just a concept costume? parang off yung white spider-logo eh.

I only played a handful of spider-man games:
1.) Spider-Man (PSX) - best spidey game on its era, I like the Venom Chase level
2.) Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro - a lengthy version of the old one.
3.) Spider-Man The Movie (PS2/PC) - A fresh take but the I don't see where the web is attached
4.) Spider-Man 2 (XBOX) - hands down to this game, 1st open world spidey game.
5.) The Amazing Spider-Man The Movie - I like the visuals & fluidity but something is off with Beenox's character designs.

I'm still planning to get/play TASM2 (by Beenox) though.
I haven't play other spidey non-movie games like i felt those are kinda very generic.
Unless I'm mistaken & missed something.

What does this mean? I didn't get an Arkham feel from the trailer at all. Do you mean dahil open world siya?

Pasensya na.. Probably too much hype up on my part. I mean the level o detail.
We know Spider-Man games are open world since PS2/XBOX days.

When I was playing Arkham games on PS3 the ASM1 (every other days), I tend to compare the graphics design between Rocksteady & Beenox. Especially human/facial models. Rocksteady (& WB Games Montreal) seems to have passion on details pushes the console's power while Beenox while i'm enjoying their game it feels that graphics could've been better but they're not pushing the potential to it's edge.

Looks very promising. This could be Marvel's answer to DC's Arkham franchise. Be The Spider-Man!

Umiiwas ako sa spidey games since PS3. Mukhang hindi na ako iiwas. After that trailer. Sana d downgraded sa retail.

Separate ang movie sa game license, the game license was previously held by activision, which expired. So they probably stuck a deal with marvel for this one.
