[OT] Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (Gold Edition Announced)

Bought a copy 2 days ago and nakaka-4 hours playthrough na ako. Legit survival horror game, medyo nakaka-taas ng BP at times. Kaya kasama ko parati si misis maglaro baka atakihin ako sa puso. Lol! Never tried it with VR, actually sa experience ko kahit normal view medyo nakaka-hilo. I turned off the "camera wobble" effect sa display para stable lang yung display.

...pansin ko lang nung sa 43 incher ko linaro, medyo nakakaramdam ako ng konti hilo pero nung sa 24" ko na di ako nahihilo. siguro pag maliit monitor at sakto lang ok sya laruin.

I'm all for options, but the game was designed with first person view in mind, so I'm not sure that' a good idea in execution. A lot of the scares use the first person camera really well, and I think having a 'third person view' option won't result in an optimal experience for players.

It would have been interesting to see if PT would have been third person or first person, but I didn't see anyone complaining too much about PT before. In fact PT showed (and RE 7) that the transition to FPS was really good, and the bonus of VR makes the experience much better.

For those wanting a more classic RE third person style game, I think Resident Evil 2 Remake will probably be in that perspective.

Basta mabagal na pacing kaya ko yung ganung view. Pag mabilisan tulad ng mga shooters, mahihilo lang agad ako.


Yung Theif na naka-first person napapagtyagaan ko. Pero I wish may third person din. Pero yun talaga ang vision ng mga developers e.

Ako din tol, mahina ako sa mga ganitong type ng game , tipong slow paced horror na bigla nalang may susulpot. Mas ok pa yung mabilisang lumalabas mga zombie at undead para kumbaga sanay na yung utak at mata mo sa mga bagay na yun. Kaya pinagiisipan ko laruin ito.

Hanga nga ako sa mga natapos ito ng plat ng VR mode.

Nilaro ko rin yun demo. naka-abot ako dun sa pag-takas ko sa front door pero nahuli ako. Sad/Bad Ending.

this game is so effing cool! Sobrang tense and nakakatakot talaga! Well done! The first person perspective is executed really well!

I've played maybe 2.5 hours, and if the game is able to sustain this intensity it will be up there as one of my all time favorite horror games (For the record, RE 2 is probably my favorite, followed by Dead Space, then maybe Until Dawn).

Really feels a lot like classic Resident Evil, updated to current day standards.

The first two hours have been really tense, and I'm hoping it continues to sustain that very very unsettling tone.

Puro siya mga somewhat mini-games with story. So if you want more back stories from the Baker's, then yes.

I'm fine with the delay in the DLC, hopefully it lives up to the same quality as the main campaign of RE VII.

Really effective. But the scares go beyond jump scares, it really is super terrifying.

“Not a Hero,” which stars Chris Redfield, will be available as a free download for all Resident Evil 7 owners on December 12.
