FFXII para pwede mong control lahat pero mainly yung leader lang. Pwede ka rin naman magpalit ng leader anytime e. So okay pa rin. :D

I was thinking the same. Gambit system pero pace ng FF13.

actually, magandang incorporate ang battle mechanics ng ff13 tapos combine sa materia system - imagine this, one character (AI) is set to sentinel tapos salpakan mo ng sangkaterbang counter materia tapos yung isang support character loaded ng quadra magic, ilang moves kagad yun in a single turn! ... pero that would be soooo OP, man.... :shock: :lol:

pero to compensate and give challenge to the player, 1 billion ang HP ng mga weapons :sweat: :sweat: :sweat:

Nobuo Uematsu, the original composer for Final Fantasy VII, isn’t working on the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Asked by Jeuxvideo.com whether or not he’s involved in the project, Uematsu simply replied, “Not at all.”

Today we saw a new trailer of the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake, and Producer Yoshinori Kitase talked more about it during Sony’s live coverage after the keynote.

on action and strategy elements, and how the game is going to balance them “perfectly” to enhance the experience.
The hardware itself has evolved since the release of Final Fantasy VII, and the games are more real, and real-time based. The previous Final Fantasy VII was a command-based RPG that utilized active-time-battle. Real-time and GMC are the trends these days.

I can’t say the new game is completely action-based, but it has more of that element and real-time than the previous game.

However, what makes Final Fantasy and RPG different from other games is that the players have the abolity to choose weapons, capabilities and magic to be strategic minded, so while the new game has more real-time element, it will also maintain that strategy building element, balancing these two factors perfectly to enhance the gaming experience.

on how the team is using the power of the PS4 to create characters that look as good as those showcased in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
The game is still in development, and we have not fully grasped all the abilities of and upgrades made to PlayStation 4. The graphics are superb on PlayStation 4, and more polygon volume is available to make it better.

The way we harnessed the power of the PlayStation 4 was to maintain the graphic quality of characters like Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith in the movie called Advent Children in our game, and this was the starting point. So, what we’re aiming for with the Final Fantasy VII Remake is to have the same quality of these characters in real-time while playing the game, and this is only achievable with PlayStation 4.

SE already got their job cut out for them kasi nandyan na yung core story ng ff7 tapos crisis core na babasehan nila ng gameplay, dadagdagan na lang ng improvements sa graphics at minor changes sa gameplay para pagandahin lahat kaya walang reason para tumagal ang development neto.

Give and take, 2017 siguro ilalabas to lalo pa't matatapos na ang ff15 kaya makakapag focus ng resources ang SE para dito sa remake.

Siguro kaya hindi nila ginawa sa PS3 ito dahil alam nilang hindi nila ma-achieve yang ganyang graphics quality.

Dapat lang na may action oriented gameplay. Since marami na nakapanood nung Advent Children marami nang fans ang nangarap at one point na sana ma-fully control nila si Cloud ala-action game in Advent Children graphics. Ito na ang katuparan ng mga pangarap nila.

Matatawa na lang ako if SE chose to maintain old school Turnbased RPG style for console like PS4. Pero hindi sa pangmamaliit sa mga ilang players na gusto pa rin ang makalumang sistema ng Turnbased combat command system. It's just sayang ang power ng PS4 kung di sasagarin ang potential ng console. SE just did a right decision.

May asset na sila ng Advent Children, may action gameplay template na sila from Crisis Core. Turnbased Combat system in all their FF games.
Saka nasimulan na nila ang action gameplay sa FF15 eh, bakit pa nila aalisin. Sayang ang game engine.

Mukhang maganda naman yung gameplay. Gusto ko masubukan yung balance action and strategy na gagawin nila. Sana lang hindi matulad sa FF15 na abutin ng dekada. Though, mukhang galing yung engine sa FF15 so mas madali na para sa kanila.

Parang hindi na bagay yung classic turn-based RPG sa magaganda na graphics. Mas okay siya sa mga Anime-like designs.

PS: Nung na-notify ako sa FB about FF7 gameplay trailer while driving, talagang tumigil pa ako sa tabi ng kalsada para panoorin. Sobrang hyped!

During this past weekend’s PlayStation Experience in San Francisco, Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake, the full remake of the award-winning role-playing game, Final Fantasy VII. The new trailer features the first CG scenes as well as gameplay footage. Final Fantasy VII Remake will be told across a multi-part series, with each entry providing its own unique experience.
That’s a pretty surprising approach, even if we still have to understand exactly what it means, what kind of unique experiences the development team intends to offer, and the reasons behind this development and publishing choice.

One possibility that comes to mind, is that an episodic approach will allow Square Enix to get the game in our hands faster, instead of waiting for the full thing to be completed before releasing it.
