This is one of the games I'm really looking forward to play! Sana ok controls niya sa Ps4.

Mataas na rin ang specs ng PS4, baka sa console ko na rin kunin siya.

Sa PC na lang ako sa Witcher 2... pero why not sa PS3 ng 2 kung magkaroon.

The Witcher 3 developer lays out DRM and DLC strategy

Those who feared the people at CD Projekt RED would change their customer-friendly stance may now allay those concerns. CD Projekt RED CEO Marcin Iwinski assured Rock Paper Shotgun that the PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would remain DRM-free.

“From our perspective, we’ll always choose the most gamer-friendly solution,” Iwinski said. “And on the platform where we have control—which is PC—we’ll release on GOG day one and DRM-free.”

As for DLC, Iwinski said CD Projekt will charge for new adventures and stories, but minor things like new gear will be free. That policy might change on the console platforms, but the developer said it’s working to provide the fairest deal for consumers. Iwinski also briefly touched on CD Projekt’s latest game, Cyberpunk 2077, only to say that working on two games at once makes sense from a business perspective.

“The fact that we have a second game in development just gives us a better way to reallocate resources – QA and whatnot,” Iwinski said. “It’s just a better way to manage the process internally. It’s better for the people and the team.”

Hopefully gamers will answer CD Projekt’s DRM strategy—or lack thereof—in a better fashion than they did for The Witcher 2, which Iwinski estimated had 4.5 million illegal downloads during the first six weeks of launch.

Sayang napaka friendly ng stance nila sa PC, sana magawa nila rin yung sa console gaming.

Yung gusto maglaro nito, i suggest playing it in the PC. Why? Kasi yung choices mo in the story have an impact on the games. Hindi iya katulad ng Mass Effect, pipili ka ng route tapos mararamdaman mo kaagad. Dito, yung mga pinili choices minsan after 2-3 acts mo pa mararamdaman. Tapos hindi sila Black and White choice, most of them are grey and may pros and cons each decision.

Ideally maganda simulan sa part 1 kasi may mga references ng events ng part 1 pag nilalaro mo yun Witcher 2. Plus mas maintindihan mo yung simula ng part 2 kung nalaro mo ang Wicther 1

Witcher 2 was amazing.. I mean beyond amazing! I played it so many times.. It was so Awesome! Graphics, Gameplay.. Everything! I love witcher 2! I bet Witcher will not disappoint us knowing its from CDPROJEKT. God! I wanna play Witcher 3 on console..

I'm still waiting for the ps3 version ng witcher 2 pero kung hindi nila gawin yun sana meron short summary sa W3 regarding sa previous games. Pero baka bilin ko na lang yung witcher 2 sa xbox 360

nilalaro ko na yung enhance edition ng witcher 2 sa PC. maganda nga ang graphics pero nakakaloko yung animation ng character, di masyado pulido. pero ganda ng story pati gameplay tsaka yung british accent nila. hehehe. hackNslash ang dating. mas maganda gamepad kesa keyboard/mouse.

In an exclusive post-E3 interview, I asked The Witcher 3 game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz how CD Projekt RED's next-gen RPG would play on Sony's fledgling handheld. What kind of control challenges does his studio face when thinking about PS Vita compatibility? "Everything is a question of the design philosophy you adopt during the early phase of the preproduction process," he said. "We designed The Witcher 3 to be a very streamlined experience as far as control and the interface go. Remember that interface differences are not only the case for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita--as a multi-platform developer we also need to take into account the differences between all the platforms."

"This means we need to introduce solutions that are flexible and universal so the game runs smoothly and provides a similar experience on all platforms, including the Vita."

Tomaszkiewicz added that, because features are still being added to the game, the console control scheme is still being hammered out. "Our first and main objective is to lock the final control scheme on the PlayStation 4 itself," he said. "Only when this is done can we provide support for alternative control modes later on. Since we’re still adding functionality to the game and testing the friendliness of our control schemes, we can’t say much about the Vita yet."
