Depende sa location mo ser. Pag maganda location mo let's say malapit ka lang talaga sa cellsite kahit yung maximum speed pa. Pinakamainam sya sa downloading napansin ko.

Ask ko lang guys, kasi may ka-officemate ako na meron globe pocket wi-fi, na 7mbps daw ang speed. sinubukan nya magload ng mga videos from youtube, nauuna pa magload yung video, so tuloy tuloy yung video and walang buffering, so iniisip ko, possible kaya for ps3 gaming to? may mga gumagamit na ba neto dito? thanks sa feedback guys!

Mabilis yung sa youtube kasi 7mbps yung download speed mabilis sya pag download at browse sa internet kaso kung online games sa ps3 depende sa ping at area location mo

I tried my brother's Globe My-Fi and I got NAT Type 3 on my PS3.

PS3 NAT Types

NAT Type 1: The PS3 is sitting directly on the Internet with a public IP address. This setup doesn’t require NAT or inbound port forwarding and is used in scenarios where the PS3 is the only device wanting to use the Internet connection. This isn’t that common as most users share their Internet connection with other devices in their home.

NAT Type 2: This is the most common and ideal type where the PS3 is sitting behind a RG that is performing NAT. The PS3 will have a private IP address which is translated to a private or public IP address by the RG.

NAT Type 3: This usually implies you have a problem in the way the PS3 is accessing the Internet. This may be caused by a firewall or port restrictions. This isn’t ideal and will result in a sub-optimal gaming experience.

With type 3, it may not be possible to communicate with other PS3â„¢ systems, and voice / video chat and the communication features of games may be restricted.

- The difference between a Type 2 and Type 1 NAT is usually physical and can’t be changed by settings alone. If you have a Type 2 or higher NAT type then you are connected correctly and can have an optimal gaming experience.

Games NAT Types

The second type of NAT is within games like “Call of Duty: Black Ops” or “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” which has 3 different classifications (“Open”, “Moderate” and “Strict”) which defines how your RG deals with inbound port forwarding and NAT. This can affect your ability to join or host games, the following matrix shows who can match with who:



Games like “Call of Duty” work on a decentralised approach where one of the players is picked as the host. The host generally requires a fast broadband connection as all the other players will connect to them. You will need an “Open” NAT type to be able to host as inbound connections are required.

Strict: You will get a “Strict” NAT type if your RG is using Port Address Translation (PAT) which is part of NAT. PAT happens when you have multiple PS3 devices sharing the same public IP address. When a PS3 attempts to connect to a host it allocates a source port for the communication – if it is the only device using this source port then NAT will use this source port as well. However, if multiple devices use the same source port then the PAT function will change the source port. This is what causes a “Strict” NAT type and can limit your ability to join games and other features like in-game chat.

Naka ako globe wimax 1mbps plan 999... saka naka Version 4.11 na din ako
Nakawired connection din...
DNS na gamit ko 4.2.2.2 ska 4.2.2.1

Hindi makaconect ako psn ska makapag net nakalagay Error 80710092 (pero dati nakakaconect namn ako)
tapos pag magpapalit naman ako ng DNS, nakalaygay sa connection test NAT TYPE: Failed (error: 80130203)

Does anyone know how to get Nat 2 for Globe tattoo? I'm currently using the USB stick with a 3g router and I know for a fact that port forwarding to my router wont work because I tested the USB stick straight thru my PC and its showing restricted NAT on some software that I'm using. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone been able to configure a Siemens SE565 modem/router to enable nat2? Eto yung modem/router that came with our Globe dsl line. Na try ko na DMZ, port forwarding, nat3 pa rin PS3 ko.

Partial solution:
Looks like only way to enable NAT2 on this modem/ router is to use NAT address translation, not NAPT. Downside is with NAT, only the ps3 will be able to access the 'net. Other way is to use the modem in bridge mode.

mine worked using DMZ and setting the PS3 in static IP defined in the DMZ setting.
COD MW3 shows my Nat Type as OPEN.
Connection test shows it's NAT2

anyone using globe broadband?
here's my issue:
NBA 2K12
- can play QuickMatch but can't play with Friends. Start game is missing after friend joins the lobby.

COD MW3
- unable to join any game session
- unable to find any games
- unable to host private game

RE ORC
- searching games forever when playing public.

PS3 Connection Status:
- Nat2
- COD MW3 shows it is OPEN.

any ideas guys?

Problemang malupit ang globe pag dating sa online gaming!
Kaya hindi akoo maka pag update. Asa lang ako sa games!

wala naman akong issue kahit Nat3 ako sa Globe DSL ko. Nakaka online naman. walang masyadong Lag. May Voice naman. pwede naman ako mag headset at makipagusap

at hindi makalaro online games ng pc. lalong lalo na sf at cf.

Problema ko din yung NAT2 to NAT3 dati. Ang ginawa ko, bumili ako ng sarili kong modem-router Ang hirap nga lang humanap...bakit halos walang nagbebenta ng modem (hindi lang router ha)?
