Man, losing anonymity is not something I think would bode well for many gamers. Real names and real photos.deathclown wrote:d naman siguro required ang may credit card remember its still a gaming console at may mga bata na walang credit card ang maglalaro hinde lang bata meron din mga tao na walang cc then again i dont like the idea of using your real name gusto ko private na yun since this console will have a streaming featureYoung_Hegelian wrote:So we need to use our real names, our real photos as avatars... So basically we need a Credit Card to confirm our personal information, because that's the only way I see people using their real name. What if PSN doesn't even support the Philippines, what then?
I hope I don't have to start over again, sana hindi katulad ng Vita to na one account lang per console, cause if that's the case I will definitely use my dummy US PS PLUS account if that's even possible instead of main HK account.
Still excited though, just worried since we are not supported by Sony.
EDIT
My understanding now is that Facebook and PSN will be tied together on your account.
Yung mock profile na pinakita ng Sony ang username nya DayZ100... DayZ on PS4?
What if our name and face is ugly? LOL. It will eventually become a popularity social issue kinda thing.
But they still said within in-game multiplayer, avatars and usernames will be supported so I guess that's a good thing.
And in regards to the credit card being needed, perhaps if PSN becomes a whole mandatory subscription service,
it might be needed. Which if PSN becomes compromised again, will cause major problems....
Ah, they never talked if all these social and networking stuff will be backed by top-of-the-line networking security.
That's still a major issue after what happened 2 years ago.....
Also yeah, we should have 3 units per account. 2 units is just not enough.
PSN should be made regionalized and localized for the Philippines as well.....after all - "It's more Fun in the Philippines".
EDIT: You caught that DayZ username huh too? Yep, wondering about that.
