Physical or Digital, what do you prefer?

Pagdating sa handhelds I prefer digital since cumbersome magpalit ng game sa sasakyan during travel. While on consoles physical atw, always liked them cases and artbook.

actually there's no need to be technical about it as everyone (er most) understands the choices, since it's elementary and only need a little common sense regardless if the question is technically incorrect.

Also, nasa console forum itong topic na 'to so common sense that these topics are pertaining to consoles that are protected by DRM, not an open source gaming device like PC that you can "convert" your game from physical to digital and vice versa. Hay some people loves to overcomplicate things.

pag ang mga lalabas na physical games ay required pa din mag download ng additional na malalaking files then digital all the way.

Oo nga eh...parang yung KZ Mercs 1gb agad yung update.

Lately napapabili ako ng mga digital games and malaking bagay talaga yung convenience of having them everywhere plus it takes out the hassle of taking carts in and out. Pero iba pa din yung feel of having an actual copy of the game lalo na pag Limited ed or Collectors ed yung sa physical.

Digital para sa akin pag sa psvita para di ko lagi dala yung case ng psvita games kung may pupuntahan ako... di naman kasi ganun katagal idownload yung games ng psvita compared sa ps3 games

Anyway, digital is slowly becoming more appealing to me lalo na pagdating sa casual games. I just recently bought Tetris Axis for the 3DS kasi and I think it's one of the best examples of a game that is waaaay better having digital than having an actual cart.

On the other hand, yung pagiging collector ko still prefers the actual physical game lalo na pag may option na bilhin ang collectors edition or special edition ng game na talagang gusto ko.

I prefer physical, kaya kahit pwede na idownload yung wind waker hd for wii u hinihintay ko padin yung retail release sa oct 4, ganon din sa ps3 games tulad ng 2k14 at gta 5

Parang mas mahirap maging pure digital gamer sa next gen kasi yung mga launch consoles 500GB lang ang HD and with games installing at around 50gb and the constant patches and updates going up to 1-2gb, limited lang ang mailalagay mo.

Yes, unless meron na nung 10TB na hard disk. Magpapalit-palit din ng disk at mag-install/uninstall din ng games para lang magkasya sa current hard disk.

Kaya nga eh...kaya parang hindi option na puro digital download ka lang lalo na kung may PSPlus ka pa na may constant supply ka ng free games. I wonder how much more expensive the PS4's would have been if they used a 1tb hard drive, kung mga $50 difference lang (which still makes it less than an XBO), I would have gone with that.

Mas nagiging prominent na ang role ng digital games recently lalo na for handhelds with some games exclusively coming out only in digital format. I'd much rather still own the physical cart but if it's digital or nothing, i'd rather have the digital. Pero sana hindi naman maging dominant and digital over physical...siguro not until maging worldwide na ang access to cheap high speed internet and cheaper digital storage space for consoles / handhelds.
