basta ako mmorpg lang saka fps games, except cod series and battlefield pero stop nako di nako bumibile ng ganun mejo nasusuka nako pag matagal nilalaro at nahihilo ako, ganda kase ng pagkakawa ng mga yun.

in my opinion, wala ko paki ever since pa sa mga trophy na yan, ni hinde ko nga tinitingnan kung ano na yung trophy ko sa isang game eh, basta minsan may nakikita ko lumalabas na na achieve ko yung isang trophy.

in my opinion dagdag pasaya yung may trophy support, nasa naglalaro na lang yun kung gusto nya yun o hinde, kung wala ka paki dun eh di nasayo yun, kung trophy hunter ka that's good, more challenge and mas nasusulet mo ang isang game.

isa siguro dahilan dahil nagsimula pa ko sa 8 bit gamer kaya I don't care about trophies. tanda ko na hehe.

@ seraph pareho tayo minsan nag try ako sa mmorpg because I use to own an internet shop before pero diko kinaya naiinip ako. hehe halos pareho tayo ng gusto at ayaw sa game, di rin ako mahileg sa multi player, single player ang focus ko at story. yung COD series nga story ang habol ko hinde yung MP, halos ako lang yata ganun dito hehe. since that game made for MP puroposes

Haha ako din! Ayan 2 na tayo bumili ng CoD ng para sa story at hindi para sa mp.
Mukha nga pareho tayo pagdating sa gaming...pati generation eh pareho eh. Tsaka pagdating sa trophies, di din ako tumitingin though minsan naturuwa ako pag bigla may lumalabas na silver/gold trophy. Parang naisip ko na mukhang nasulit ko yung game. Pero kung walang trophy, ayos lang. Tulad mo, I play for the story, gameplay and the overall fun factor of the game. Para sakin the game itself is the challenge, hindi ko naman kailangan ng trophies. And not to bash on anyone, pero to view a game as a no play pag walang trophies sort of makes you miss out on a LOT of really good games.

Ang opinion ko...the game makes earning trophies worth it. It's not the trophies in the game that makes the game worth buying and playing.

naalala ko yung Resident Evil 2 dati...wala syang trophies pero nag Leon-Claire-Claire-Leon scenarios ako, na unlock ko si Hunk at Tofu,naunlock ko rin yung Extreme Battle hanggang level 3, collected all weapons, finish the game without using health spray, tapusin ang isang scenario with less than 2 hrs, mabasa ang memory card tapos di na ma read...hahaha

hindi sa pinagmamayabang... na enjoy ko kasi yung game without trophies...ngayon, isa lang kasi yung trophies sa mga add-on ng game...kung nilabas ang RE6 na walang trophies, I will still buy it. Kinukuha ko lang ang mga trophies at platinum hangga't kaya.. pero pag-ika-career? nahhhh.....

Ang tinuturing kong trophy yung pag unlock ng mga char,costumes,avatars etc... Pero tina-try ko maging trophy hunter sa red dead redemption ma paplat ko na kaso na benta ko lang

Ang major problem kasi you said that old games are boring and games with no trophies are useless. Yeah its your opinion pero yang ganyang klaseng comments makaka-attract talaga ng negative comments yan lalo na majority of members here, at least what I notice eh lumaki sa 16bit era. I won't even have a problem kahit mawalan pa ng trophies/achievements sa next-gen gaming, I will still play and complete games I want to.

This is subjective and most people will agree to this but, beating a game especially by NES standards like Contra, Gradius, Battletoads etc. is an accomplishment already. Trophies/achievements are just...proof (or not, considering they are cheatable). I don't and I won't need those to finish and complete games and I will never play something like Hannah Montana over a game like Valkyria Chronicles/Eternal Sonata/Folklore just because the former has trophies.

you mean during those nes/ps1/ps2 era naghahanap ka na ng trophies sa isang game? and kaya karamihan dun hinde mo natapos ay dahil walang trophies? you said there are a hundreds of them tapos ilan lang natapos mo? eh di bat halos lahat yun wala naman trophies ba't bumile ka pa ng a hundred titles? that's a lot and sayang yun kung ilan lang natapos mo. just asking lang.

Yep. Sayang talaga. Hundreds of games talaga yun na hindi ko nalaro. And hindi ako naghahanap ng trophies nun (malay ko ba). My point is, wala lang drive to finish a game.

I'll give an example that most people can relate to. PvZ came out years in iOS. All my friends finished it. Once.

But they never got to experience what I experienced: Wave 40 onwards of pure zombie ferocity in Survival Endless Mode. When my friend saw me playing PvZ Survival Endless Mode at Wave 36, he thought I was playing a newly released sequel because of all the action. It's a game that I never would have played again (after beating Adventure Mode once) if not for those trophies. Then I would have missed out on all the fun.

Para sa akin hindi kailangan ng proof na natapos mo yung game. Basta alam mo sa sarili mo na natapos mo yung game, ok na yun. At hindi rin kailangan malaman ng iba.

Hindi ko talaga magustohan ang FPS. Hiniram ko Deus Ex sa pinsan ko...although ok yung game kasi may stealth, RPG elements (leveling up abilities/skills), and cover-up (IMO, this is a MUST for all games that has shooting involved)...hindi ko fully ma-enjoy kasi first person yung game.

Never ako nakapaglaro ng Starcraft, Warcraft, Dota.
Hindi rin ako mahilig sa mga mmorpg although there was a time na gusto ko sana subukan yun Ragnarok during it's hype days.
Hindi ako mahilig sa mga games na may mga jump scares. Baka mamaya atakihin pa ako sa puso. Pero natapos ko naman yun Until Dawn at mga Resident Evil games sa PS3 and PS4 (most but not all of them).
Panay nga ang invite sa akin ng friend ko na maglaro daw kami ng Mobile Legend pero enjoy na ako sa Everwing para sa light relaxation. PS4 for my serious gaming hobby.

Habang inaantay ko yun western release ng Dragon Quest XI, nilaro ko ulit (via emu-roms) yun Dragon Quest 1 hanggang 7. Walang mga trophies yun.
