yes. it will mean that you'll have to "share" your account to the new ps3.

if there are already 2 units using that account, you can deactivate them using this site -> http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/home

you just log on using your psn account.

Ganyan na rin ang unit ko ngayon. Sa MW3, random shutdown. minsan mag-start pa lang ang game, minsan after 10 minutes, minsan after 2 hours. Sa Castlevania: Lord of Shadows naman, always shutdown after defeating that werewolf boss.
Try mo na ipa-reball yan. Sa akin pina-reball ko na kay Royginald pero ganun pa rin ang sakit.

Pero hindi YLOD yung sayo? Nagagamit pa rin?

Hindi naman siya YLOD kasi nagagamit ko pa rin. May mga random shutdowns lang pero nakaka-proceed pa rin ako sa game. Annoying lang minsan lalo na kung ang dami mo na nagawa sa game tapos hindi ka pa nakaka-save tapos nag-shutdown pa. Nakakasira ng momentum sa paglalaro.

Can guitar controllers be repaired? Yung strum thingy kasi nung akin bigla na lang di na gumagana if downwards yung pag strum.. Do you guys know if that can still be repaired? thanks

Bakit kaya na pay naglalro ako online ng MW3 na didisconnect sa server in the middle of the game? In the middle of the game mapuputol ka lang then "server connection timeout" Tapos hindi ka na makapasok game. It usually says DNS error. Then minsan eventually massing out ka sa PSN. Haslle eh. Every time or tuning mag lalaro ako meron taiga point ga ganyan. So what i do is turn the PS3 off tapos on again. Ano kaya meron problem, ISP, NETWORK, ROUTER or SERVER?

try to do a ping test on your PC, like ping yahoo.com -t , then observe if there are timeouts

hi mga sir..newbie here..my cousing gave me his 2nd hand ps3 80gig US version. nung una working fine until one day bigla sha ng off mag isa..3 beeps then blink red light. so turn on ko again ok na,..nakakapag laro ako ng normal naman. simula mangyari yun minsan pag on pa lang ng console mag off na agad so turn on ko lang then ok na..pansin ko lang mas madalas sha mag off sa newly installed ko na MGS4..pero pag yung 2k12 wala naman prob also pag wifi ako wala naman din problema. so ayun ano kaya prob? anyone here na matutulungan ako? sbi sa net pwede na DIY pero hinde kasi ako techie e haha baka meron mabait dito na tulungan ko strip down ps3 then re-flow daw ba yun? hinde naman ata YLOD kasi from what ive read, totally inde nagagamit pag YLOD e.. help naman mga sir TY!

balls...madedeads na yata ang ps3 slim ko.

2yrs and 4months palang siya. kabibili ko pa lang ng logitech DFGT wheel. madalas siyang mag auto shutdown while playing midnight LA and gt5. pag naglalaro naman ako ng dragons dogma kahit 6hrs straight ok naman siya.

so niformat ko (FULL FORMAT) pucha 7hrs lol. mamya paguwi ko pa lang masusubukan kung mawawala yung problem.

kapag ganun pa din may suggestion ba kayo ano pwede gawin? repair? how much? 11k ang bnew unit ngayon. argh gusto ko ng magassemble ng PC

there are 2 ways actually.

1. you can use terminal. find it using spotlight.

just type this:

ping yahoo.com

you should see a reply that says how many milliseconds it took to "ping" it.

2. using spotlight, look for network utility.

i think there's a ping button in it. you can type yahoo.com in the text box.

Yes static DNS yun. Para sure, ilagay mo na rin sa Network configuration ng PS3 yan.
